CrystalRoc Swarovski case for iPad 2

Posted in iPad by Conner Flynn on March 6th, 2011

Now that Steve has launched iPad 2, CrystalRoc isn’t missing the chance to glam it up with their first Swarovski encrusted iPad 2 cases. I wonder how many of these they actually sell. Michael Jackson is gone, so there goes one sale. I suppose Elton John will get one, maybe Lady Gaga.

It comes decked out in more than 4000 crystals and is exclusively produced in their London Studios. For just $700, you can encase your new iPad in either Swarovski Crystal, Jet Hematite or Rose cases. The company also accepts orders for custom color cases as well.

Posted in USB Flash Drives by Conner Flynn on March 1st, 2011

Shopping for a USB stick? Might as well just go to a laundromat or a dry cleaners. There has apparently been a 400 per cent increase in the number of USB sticks being left behind in clothes to be dry cleaned. The news comes from a survey taken by more than 500 dry cleaners and laundrettes. About 17,000 USB sticks were left in 2010, that’s four times the number found in 2009.

It’s an epidemic that shows no signs of stopping. Sometimes it is in your shirt, sometimes in your pants, but it always ends up in the wash. Please do your part and save a USB stick today.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to stream live broadcasts from Smart TVs

Posted in Samsung by Conner Flynn on February 23rd, 2011

Owners of Samsung’s latest Smart TVs will be able to stream live TV shows to compatible tablets or mobile phones. Both the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy S II will be able to make use of the televisions’ second tuner, turning them into second sets to watch in your home.

We don’t have much in the way of specs right now, but of course the new service won’t work on every TV that the company offers , just the upcoming D7000 and D8000 ranges. We also aren’t sure if it will work with the company’s older phones.

The Electric Beauty Lift High Nose supposedly uses electric vibrations to straighten your nose, while making you look ridiculous at the same time. Anyway, if this worked, there would be no crooked noses in the world.

Samsung unveils WB700 megazoom, NX11 cameras

Posted in Cameras by Conner Flynn on December 28th, 2010

Samsung has announced two new upgraded cameras. The WB700 is designed for video. Although it can zoom out to a true 18X in a compact body during HD movie making, it can also capture footage silently through a new noise cancellation feature that counteracts lens noise. The camera can reach out to 24X through a software-based zoom that minimizes the pixelated look.

Samsung has also upgraded the sensor from the WB650 to 16 megapixels and still supports other semi-pro features like full manual control and RAW. The NX11 is an upgrade to the NX10. It now supports the same i-Function enhanced lenses as the NX100 and can set a lens priority mode that tunes settings to what’s best suited for the lens. The grip has also been improved, though the APS-C sized sensor, RAW shooting, 720p video and three-inch AMOLED are similar to the NX10.

Boost Case for iPhone 4

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on December 6th, 2010

No matter how good the battery is on a device, we need more juice. The iPhone 4, like everything else, always seems to run down at the worst times. And the iPhone 4 also needs a case, so you might as well take care of both problems with one device.

The Boost Case will fit the bill since it has a battery inside. It has a black exterior with blue LEDs to show how much battery life is left in the device. The battery inside has 1700mAh of power and the case is just 0.69″ thick. The case can be charged alone or you can charge the case battery and the iPhone 4 battery at the same time, which is nice.
