We now have more information on the LG LU2300 smartphone which comes with a slideout QWERTY keyboard and a circular D-Pad. There’s also a hardware button setup on the front.

It differs from other Android phones from LG because it has the fast 1GHz Snapdragon processor with a 3.5″ AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera and Android 2.1. Right now it looks like it’s only a South Korea special. No idea if or when it will hit North America.

Lady Gaga. You can’t escape her, no matter what radio station you play or where you are. And people are in love with her out there music videos. Now that she’s hit the bigtime, Lady Gaga now has her own mobile phone devoted to her.

It’s LG’s GB280. The phone comes with some neat wallpapers as well as songs like Paparazzi, Dance in the Dark and Bad Romance. As far as specs, the phone has a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, media player, FM, email, browser, Dolby mobile sounds and GSM/EDGE connectivity.

iPhone rumors are flying fast and furious this week. To add some fuel to the fire, here’s some speculation from UBS analyst Maynard Um. He claims that the new iPhones may have a touch sensitive back, which is something that people have speculated about for some time. Some other possible features include a 5-megapixel camera, 64GB of storage, AMOLED display and longer battery life.

All of those would be nice, but we will see what happens. Apple could turn the back of the iPhone into a touch-sensitive surface, similar to the Magic Mouse. It would make the iPhone even more versatile. But we just don’t know.

If luxury phones are your thing, then check this out. Nokia is going gold with the Nokia N97 Mini Gold Edition. It comes covered in 18 carat gold. Aside from that, everything else is the same. Except now you are more likely than ever to get mugged.

Some of those specs include the 3.2″ touchscreen display at 360 x 640 resolution, 8GB of internal memory, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, microSD memory card slot, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, integrated FM transmitter and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics.

Puma has teamed up with Sagem for a sporty new mobile phone, the Puma Phone. The Puma Phone features a solar panel on the back of the handset that will charge the phones battery when you are out and about in the sun.

The phone features a 2.8 inch QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and six times digital zoom. There’s also another forward facing camera that can be used for VGA video conferencing.

Acer has a number of new Windows Mobile and Android devices to choose from. Among them are the Acer neoTouch P300 and neoTouch P400 which run Windows Mobile 6.5.3, the former featuring a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The Acer beTouch E110 and E400 run Android (1.5 Cupcake and 2.1 Eclair). The E110 has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen and the E400 has a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen. All feature 3G and Bluetooth, while the E110 lacks WiFi b/g. And all have a 3.2-megapixel camera together with GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Clearly not worried about jumping the shark, Samsung has launched a new range of phones which target the multimedia-hungry, who constantly need to be connected to social networking sites. You know, “the youth”. Otherwise known as “Those damn kids”.

The new range is scheduled to go on sale next month and includes the Samsung Shark S5350, Samsung Shark 2 S5550 and Samsung Shark 3 S3550. All three handsets integrate SNS (Social Networking Services), providing one-click access to popular services like MySpace, Facebook, Bebo and others.

Google is expected to release it’s own mobile phone in a press conference schedule for today, going by the name of Nexus One. The new phone will be the first to actually be sold by Google and will also run Google’s very own Android software stack for mobile devices.

The Nexus One is rumored to also become available through the T-Mobile and their wireless carrier network in addition to the unlocked version direct from Google. The Android software has already been available on a number of mobile phones starting back in 2008 with a device from HTC. The device Google is introducing today is expected to also be from HTC, touting a 3.7 inch touch screen, 5-megapixel camera and a Snapdragon processor.

Samsung’s entry-level C5130 slider phone looks a little, uh, how should I say, “husky” in this pic. Well, despite it’s width, it has been launched in India for a mere 6200 INR (That’s $134 to you and me). It does have some useful features for an entry-level phone.

Like 3G and social networking integration, home screen shortcuts to 8 popular social networking services like Facebook, YouTube, Orkut and Picasa too. The C5130 also packs Bluetooth, FM radio, a 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD card support and talk time of up to 13 hours.

Nokia just announced 2 new budget sliders with an emphasis on media sharing and pretty colors. The Nokia 6700 Slide and the Nokia 7230. These newbs are priced about $239 and $150 respectively.

The 6700 Slide features a 5-megapixel Carl Zeiss optic camera with onboard editing software and the 7230 sports a 3.2 megapixel camera. Both of these phones will be available in a variety of catchy colors.

Nokia has announced the Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition, a mobile handset that focuses on mobile broadcast TV (DVB-H), social networking, music and gaming all in one compact 3G slider. This handset is all about offering users a convenient way to access TV while on the run. It features a 2.4-inch QVGA color display and a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use a set of superior headphones if you like.

Some other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and One-click access to live broadcasts. The Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition will pick up all the available channels and set reminders for your favorite shows and even create personal channel lists with Nokia’s Electronic Program Guide (EPG). The battery life allows users to watch three football games or six episodes of a soap opera for example before recharging.

Android smartphones are very hot right now and T-Mobile is trying to land as many of the devices as it can. We have already talked about the Behold II from Samsung before. The device sports Android and uses the TouchWiz user interface.

T-Mobile has announced that the Behold II will be coming to the network on November 18. The features of the device are already known, but in case you missed them, I will go over them again. The device has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen and a 5-megapixel camera with zoon and flash. The camera can record video as well.

T-Mobile has your back in this economy and hey, they didn’t get a bailout either. The company is offering a simple, yet fugly looking 3711 clamshell from Nokia. iPhones laugh at it. Long and hard. Then complain that they can’t breath.

As far as features, it sports a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, microSD card expansion and a QVGA display. Also GPS, which gives it some cred. If you get an Even More contract, you’ll be able to pick it up for $70. With the Even More Plus plan, it’ll cost you $160.

Samsung has unveiled a few images for two unannounced phones, the M3310 and B3410. The M3310 is a music-inclined dual-slider with external music controls that features stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, integrated FM radio with RDS, a 2.1″ QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel and a microSD memory card slot. It will be available in black and white.

The Samsung B3410 offers a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.6″ QVGA display, TouchWiz 2.0 UI, quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.

The Alcatel One Touch Mini is rolling out in Spain, aimed at Spanish youth. And so the phones are affordable and feature packed and bright.

The One Touch Mini features a 2.4 inch touch screen that displays a widgets bar, a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM and Bluetooth. It comes in attractive colors with a cool QWERTY keypad. The Alcatel One Touch Mini will be cost just 60 Euros (or $89).
