LG LU2300 details emerge |
We now have more information on the LG LU2300 smartphone which comes with a slideout QWERTY keyboard and a circular D-Pad. There’s also a hardware button setup on the front.
It differs from other Android phones from LG because it has the fast 1GHz Snapdragon processor with a 3.5″ AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera and Android 2.1. Right now it looks like it’s only a South Korea special. No idea if or when it will hit North America.

Samsung’s entry-level C5130 slider phone looks a little, uh, how should I say, “husky” in this pic. Well, despite it’s width, it has been launched in India for a mere 6200 INR (That’s $134 to you and me). It does have some useful features for an entry-level phone.
Nokia just announced 2 new budget sliders with an emphasis on media sharing and pretty colors. The Nokia 6700 Slide and the Nokia 7230. These newbs are priced about $239 and $150 respectively.

T-Mobile has your back in this economy and hey, they didn’t get a bailout either. The company is offering a simple, yet fugly looking 3711 clamshell from Nokia. iPhones laugh at it. Long and hard. Then complain that they can’t breath.
Samsung has unveiled a few images for two unannounced phones, the M3310 and B3410. The M3310 is a music-inclined dual-slider with external music controls that features stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, integrated FM radio with RDS, a 2.1″ QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel and a microSD memory card slot. It will be available in black and white.
The Alcatel One Touch Mini is rolling out in Spain, aimed at Spanish youth. And so the phones are affordable and feature packed and bright.
