LG LV3400 And LV2500 IPS TVs

LG is launching two new IPS TVs in Japan, the LV3400 (Full HD) and LV2500 (HD) series. The LG LV3400 is available in 32-inch and 43-inch models, while the LG LV2500 comes in 22-inch and 32-inch models.

Both of these LED backlight IPS TVs feature a of Digital TV tuner, a USB Recording mode, an improved contrast ratio and a higher color reproduction. The LV3400 And LV2500 IPS TVs will arrive in August 2011 for between 60,000 Yen($768) to 140,000 Yen($1,793).

Facebook glitch exposes private videos

If you have any private videos on Facebook, you better pay attention. TechCrunch first got wind of this problem and it could be embarrassing for some of you with sensitive videos. The glitch apparently has to do with restricted-access settings for videos posted to Facebook and shared with supposedly designated friends.

The titles, thumbnails, and descriptions for videos were mistakenly visible to all of a user’s friends, regardless of which had been granted access to the clips. And a list of people tagged in each clip was visible as well.

Habey USA has unveiled its new 12-inch touchscreen rugged PC, called the Habey PPC-6512. It’s powered by a 1.8GHz dual core Intel Atom processor, with a 512MB nVidia ION GT218 graphics card, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 2.5-inch removable hard drive and a VESA wall mount.

As an added bonus, the Habey PPC-6512 can also output dual independent displays via VGA and HDMI ports with a max resolution of up to 2560×1600. You also get four USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, LAN, S/PDIF HD digital audio, and dual internal mini-PCI Express slots. It is compatible with both Windows and Linux. You can get it now for $800.

Sanwa 400-MA029 Wireless Mouse

Sanwa has released their latest wireless mouse, the different looking 400-MA029 in Japan. This mouse is powered by 2 AAA batteries and comes in a 5-button design.

The mouse also features a 2.4GHz radio frequency, a blue LED ‘Blue-Tech’ sensor, a 1000/500dpi resolution that is switchable and a tiny USB receiver. It comes in both red and black color options for about $22.

Panasonic reveals Lumix FZ47

Digital cameras that can shoot video are a dime a dozen, but only a few give you the power to manually select aperture and shutter speed. The Lumix FZ47 from Panasonic gives you full control over both video and still photo capture with its Creative Control mode.

The 12.1-megapixel superzoom can shoot 1080i HD at 30 fps. It also has a 3-inch LCD, 24x Leica zoom lens with a 25mm wide-angle focal length, and you can shoot 3.5-megapixel stills while recording video. The $400 FZ47 will arrive next month.

Super Talent MasterDrive KX3 Industrial-grade 1.8-inch SSD Series

Super Talent has introduced the MasterDrive KX3 industrial-grade SSD series drives. They are available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB storage capacities and have a 1.8-inch form factor, a metal enclosure and a SATA 3.0Gbps interface.

The MasterDrive KX3 will withstand -40 degrees C to 85 C temperatures and delivers sequential read and write speeds of up to 250 MB/s and 140 MB/s, respectively. No info on pricing yet though.

Apple 27-inch Thunderbolt display with FaceTime HD camera and built-in speakers

Apple’s new Thunderbolt display is a 27-inch model with a 2560 x 1440 resolution 16:9 IPS display. It packs in Apple’s new connectors, an integrated 2.1 speaker system, and a Firewire 800 slot. If that isn’t enough, there’s also a built-in FaceTime HD camera and Mic, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0 ports and MagSafe charging for your MacBook.

The DisplayPort hookup can daisy chain up to six high speed devices. It will cost $999. Just when Apple fans had some money in the bank, they now have something more to buy.

Acer reveals Aspire 5755 multimedia laptop

Acer’s latest laptop, the Aspire 5755, is for multimedia lovers who are on the go. It features Intel Core chips (with the i7-2820QM available in the premium configurations), and Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics with Nvidia’s Optimus tech.

Other features include 8GB of DDR3 memory, as much as 1TB of storage, and a 15.6 inch Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit TFT LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 1366×768. There’s also built Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) tech and an HDMI-output option.

Logitech Wireless Keyboard Touch K400

Logitech is set to release it’s latest compact wireless keyboard, the Touch K400. This good looking keyboard is powered by 2 AA batteries and features a 2.4GHz radio frequency that will let it work from up to 10 meters.

Other features include a built-in 3.5-inch touchpad, left/right mouse buttons, a tiny USB receiver that can be stowed away on the back of the body and it supports Windows 7, Vista and XP. The Logitech Wireless Keyboard Touch K400 will go on sale on July 29th for 4,480 Yen (or about $57).

Archos G9 tablets priced

Still thinking about an Android 3.1 tablet? This may sway you toward Archos. Back in June, Archos revealed two new G9 models: the 8-inch 80 and the 10-inch 101. And now pricing has been revealed for their September release.

The smaller will start at $299.99 and the larger at $369.99 for the 8GB base models. 250GB options are also available for both, boasting Seagate’s 7mm Momentus Thin HDD technology, for those who need a large storage option. So, who wants one?

Amazon Sells ViewSonic ViewBook VB730 7-inch Tablet

Amazon is now selling the ViewSonic ViewBook VB730 for just $230. The device features a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512MB of RAM, an HDMI port with 1080p playback and a stylus for input.

That’s not all. The new Android Froyo tablet also features a 7-inch (800×400) touchscreen display, 8GB of storage space, a built-in microSD card slot for storage expansion and a front-facing camera for your video chat needs.

gScreen Spacebook finally available for pre-order

Has it really been two years since we last saw the Spacebook that gScreen intended to offer? Sure has. Looks like it is finally available for pre-order and the specs have been upgraded too. You might remember that it features two full 17.3-inch monitors that with 1920 x 1080 resolutions.

The entry level model starts at $2,395, with a Core i5-560M processor, 4GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTS 250M GPU with 1GB of VRAM. The high-end model has a Core i7-740M CPU and 8GB of memory, with the rest of the specs the same for $2,795.
