BenQ C840 digicam
This week BenQ announces an upgraded version of their C740i camera with the C840. The new model features a 2.5 inch LTPS screen with an 8MP resolution and 3X optical zoom. The camera allows for full control over the outcome of the image with its P/Av/Tv/M feature.

The C840 is equipped with a Pentax lens facilitating 99.8% light penetration making it the most light sensitive camera in its class. An emphasis on widescreen shooting and an optional 16:9 resolution ratio for HDTV display shows that BenQ is forward thinking with this camera. MJPEG videos are shot at a near DVD quality 720×400 resolution at 30 frames per second and are optionally stored in its 4GB internal storage or SDHC card, support for which is an upgrade from the C740i counterpart.

Vintage grippage for your Wii

Thrustmaster T-Wireless NW controller for the Nintendo Wii gives a different and better grip for older style gamesWhile it may look like a painted-up controller for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 it is in fact made for the Nintendo Wii. This is the Thrustmaster T-Wireless NW controller and it’s designed for play with the older, classic video games that are being ported for play to the Wii generation.

You get about 30 feet of play range out of it and you can customize the keys, mini-sticks and the D-pad for whatever function you desire. There are also two unusual buttons that will help you get better scores with your Miis: a turbo bottom which you only need to press once to get the same action as repeated button mashing; and a slow button which, if you can guess, slows the on-screen action down when reaction time is of the essence.

Wooden Wind-Up Musical Orb

Wooden music orb that plays msuic by winding it up.This little wooden spherical-shaped device is home to an 18-key chime that’s permanently set inside with nothing escaping aside from the music it plays when you wind it up. Using a classic wind-up key the orb will chime out the famous Austrian composer’s Voi, Che Sapete from The Marriage of Figaro with the wood giving it a naturally unique sound.

The music plays equally well if the music ball is sitting still or rolling across the floor, making an interesting conversation piece to have around the house. This musical orb has a diameter of 3.5″ and comes made out of either Beech or Oak natural wood along with the necessary key, all encased in a box donned with the Mozartkugel name from which a similarly-shaped, Mozart-inspired confection was named.
