LG has unveiled a new notebook this week called the Xnote P210. The machine sports a 12.5-inch screen and they’ve made the bezel thinner, so that it can accomodate that larger 12.5-inch screen into a notebook the size of your average 11.6-inch machine. The bezels on the notebook measure about 299mm horizontal and 192mm vertical.

It also comes with an Intel Core i5 470UM CPU running at 1.33GHz and uses Intel HD graphics. Other features include 4GB of RAM and 320GB of storage. The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

MSI is ready for CES 2011, where they will showcase some new notebooks along with tablet devices. Two new WindPad tablets will be on display, with the Wintel-powered WindPad 100W accompanying the WindPad 100A that runs on the ARM/Android platform. Both will come with modules including G-Sensor gravity detecting devices, an ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi.

The WindPad 100A will run on Android 2.1 Eclair, with a 10.1-inch multi-touch control display, an ARM processor, a digital compass, a GPS locator, a G-Sensor gravity detecting device, an ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi with 3G support optional. The Windows 7 Home Premium-powered MSI WindPad 100W is also a 10.1-incher that has an Intel mobile processor and 32GB SSD, a G-Sensor, an ALS light sensor and Wi-Fi.

We’ve been waiting for Dell’s Looking Glass tablet to arrive and now the device has finally had a sit down with the FCC, which has approved its integrated 3G chip for the UMTS bands II, IV and V, hinting at compatibility for AT&T and T-Mobile.

It also got approval for Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and Wi-Fi b/g/n. The device features an SD card slot along with a SIM card slot. We don’t yet know if the device will support voice calling, though. CES is just around the corner, so we are sure to hear more details from Dell very soon.

Dell has dropped the price of the Adamo 13 and they have also given it a major speed increase to keep it ahead of the MacBook Air. The price of the system has fallen from $1,099 to $899 while giving it the same specifications as the previous high-end model. Gone is the 1.4GHz, ultra-low voltage Core 2 Duo from the old versions and it has now moved up to the faster 2.13GHz chip.

Other specs include a 128GB solid-state drive, 4GB of RAM, 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, two USB ports (one with eSATA), Ethernet and DisplayPort. The six-cell battery is built in, but can last for as much as five hours.

Americans tend to take things for granted and we forget that you can’t get an iPad everywhere in the world. However, it is now available in one more location. The Apple iPad is finally available for purchase in the Philippines.

The company is selling all six models of the iPad on its online store, with prices ranging from PHP 23,990 (around $541) for the 16GB Wi-Fi model to PHP 40,990 (around $924) for the 64GB 3G model. Folks in the Philippines can now enjoy what the iPad has to offer and they can look forward to all of the apps and accessories that will empty their wallet.

Motorola’s Android 3.0 tablet has showed up again with a leak that shows clearer images and some more detailed specs. The new images show a 10-inch tablet with the completely overhauled interface, which includes the new navigation bar and lock screen. The back shows the five-megapixel camera with flash as well as a large external speaker and what looks like standard USB ports on the bottom.

Inside, the tablet sports a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 clocked at 1GHz with 512MB of RAM. It may not be available in a Wi-Fi only edition and could need a 3G or 4G connection to get online. Verizon is also connected to the tablet and could use it as a flagship for its LTE network, though 3G editions with EVDO and HSPA have been pegged for other carriers.

Mashed Pixel has embedded an Infrared emitter into a case. So when you wrap the Surc around your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4, and download the (free) accompanying app, you can start programming. Then you can set up your home entertainment setup without any external accessories.

The only downside is that the iPad is not supported, and when you upgrade to the next iPhone, your IR case becomes obsolete. If you don’t mind that, you can get your pre-order in now for $69.95. Initial shipments are expected in Q1 2011.

Not a single one of AT&T’s Pantech-branded handsets thus far has been powered by the Android operating system, but the Pantech Moon P8000 may change all of that. This smartphone recently visited the FCC and features support for AT&T 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

It might not ship with a QWERTY keyboard, so there’s that to consider. And we don’t have any info on when they plan to roll out the Pantech Moon P8000, but we will let you know when we have more info.

Samsung is unleashing a special Luxury edition of its Galaxy Tab that will cost $1,000.00. For that price you get an exclusive leather case to carry the tablet in and a Bluetooth headset in addition to the stock Galaxy Tab. That’s it.

That’s right. There isn’t any gold or silver or even a single Swarovski crystal anywhere. We aren’t even sure if it will be the 3G-capable version. If this is a Wi-Fi-only model, you better pass on this one.

Kenwood Japan has launched the CLX-70 iPod and iPhone speaker dock, which uses DTS Envelo speakers along with three-dimensional soundstage and is powered by a 30W amp. Connection options include the 30-pin Dock Connector, USB port, SD card slot and a CD drive that supports MP3 files.

The CLX-70 will play nice with the iPhone 3G, 3GS and the iPhone 4, iPod touch, second-generation iPod nano and the iPod classic. It will be available in three colors and will hit the Japanese market this month.

ViewSonic’s brand new Android tablet, the ViewPad 7, is now available for purchase in the good old US of A via EXCaliberPC.com. This tablet will cost you $479.

You might remember that the ViewPad 7 offers a 7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB of flash memory, a full-sized SIM card slot, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a back-facing 3-megapixel camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video calling, a G-sensor, A-GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and it all runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.

It’s been confirmed that the Acer Iconia dual-screen notebook will be available in Spain on January 28th. As you might have guessed it won’t be cheap. It will be priced at EUR1,499 (or $1,987).

When it arrives in the states it might be priced differently, but it shouldn’t be too far from that mark. The following specs should be well worth it: You get Two 14-inch multi-touch LCDs, Intel Core i5 processor, Up to 4GB RAM, Up to 750GB hard drive, Optional 3G module, USB 3.0 port, HDMI and VGA output, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi b/g/n.

Looks like the company will start taking pre-orders on the Adam tablet starting tomorrow, December the 9th. We’ve been hearing about this tablet for awhile now. It features a 10.2 WSVGA display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

Some other specs of this tablet include a 3.2 megapixel camera with built in auto focus, WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth, plus two USB 2.0 ports, and a miniUSB port along with an HDMI and a microSD card slot.

Google has announced an unbranded Google Cr-48 laptop. The name comes from the symbol for the chromium isotope on the periodic table. The device will be distributed through a Chrome OS Pilot Program, which is in public beta.

Google is hoping that early users will provide valuable feedback, but there isn’t a purchase option right now. Retail units from Acer and Samsung will be available in 2011. The Cr-48 will feature a 12.1-inch display, a full keyboard over a capacious trackpad, world …

Adding yet another option to the crowded tablet market, Teclast has announced its latest Android-powered tablet, the Teclast T720-3GE. Looks good in that colorful image. So what does it have? The device features a 7-inch (800 x 400) display screen, the Google Android 2.1 OS, a 624MHz ARM processor and supports 720p video playback via an HDMI output.

The tablet measures just 6.5mm thick and also features Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Sadly we have no info on pricing yet.
