Toshiba G900Some early pics and information on a new mobile device from Toshiba were unleashed today from the 3GSM show in Barcelona this week via Engadget.

The Toshiba G900 packs the new Windows Mobile 6 platform with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a 3-inch WVGA display. Also included is 64MB of internal memory with a miniSD card expansion slot, a biometric scanner for finger print security and video calling.

Samsung Ultra Smart F700The Samsung F700 is Samsung’s newest addition to the Ultra family of mobile phones. The F700 features a 2.78″ color touch-screen display, a 5 mega-pixel camera with auto focus, and support for 7.2 Mbps HSDPA.

Palm Treo available in Europe on all mobile phone networksPalm announced today that the Treo 750 smartphone will be made generally available to customers across Europe through the Palm online store starting February 6th, 2007. Cingular Introduces Palm Treo 750Palm and Cingular introduced the new Palm Treo 750 for Cingular this week, which is now available for customers through Cingular and through Palm’s website. This brings Cingular up into the race with a product in direct competition with the likes of Sprint and Verizon with their Treo 700 line products, and is an addition to the Treo 680 already available from Cingular.

IntelIntel recently demonstrated the completed design of its first mobile WiMAX baseband chip at the keynote address of the 3G World Congress and Mobility Marketplace in Hong Kong. The new chipset is dubbed the Intel WiMAX Connection 2300 and marks another major step in Intel’s efforts to “drive innovation in mobile broadband access”.

The demonstration was preformed with an Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology-based laptop with mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e-2005), Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11n), and high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) 3G capabilities.
