All PS3 units will be firmware upgradeable to 3DLooks like it won’t be long before you are gaming on the PS3 with 3D technology. According to Sony, your current PS3 can support 3D with a firmware update. Sony wants into the 3D market and they are not just dipping a toe in either.

They will be offering 3D tools to developers making games on its platform. Not sure if we’ve heard anything about what Nintendo and Microsoft plan to do about 3D technology, but now that Sony has weighed in, they will likely speak up soon. The Xbox 360 could probably take the firmware route as well.

The 942H KT is pretty much an average flip phone, but when opened the pink highlights and Hello Kitty logo show up. Some other features include: 1-Seg television viewing, 3D gaming, GPS, electronic wallet features, and 3G. Nothing on pricing, but when the kitty shows up, girls empty their wallets.

Art Lebedev's 3D socket concept is five plugs in oneOne day soon we might have wireless power, but until that day we will still have the necessary outlets all over our home. Art Lebedev’s Rozetkus 3D socket looks like a fairly normal socket, but when you push the button on top it pops out to provide five plugs.

This is definitely something we can all use with our many wired devices. There’s no info on possible release, but our guess is that we will see this one in homes soon.

FaceID unlocks your door with Facial RecognitionFaceID combines home security systems with facial recognition. It will likely take over from the usual password, swipe card, retina and fingerprint scanning systems that we already use. It isn’t just a concept either.

FaceID is available right now and looks cool enough for any front door. It uses two digital cameras to create a 3D image of your face. Your face model is stored and matched with whoever stands in front of the system so it can decide whether to let you in or not.
