Veho Mimi all-in-one HTPC controller looks like a gamepad

Is your home theater still using the old mouse and keyboard combo? Well Veho has announced the “Mimi wifi Keyboard & Air Mouse with game controller.” It looks like an Xbox 360 gamepad controller, but this one has everything you want in an all-in-one computer-controller.

It features a motion sensor to control the mouse, separate buttons for left and right clicking and a range of about 33 feet. It’s compatible with both Windows and Mac via a USB dongle, but the customizable buttons will only work on a Microsoft OS machine. It will cost you about 150 dollars (or £90).

Sony’s PSP Go drops to $150

The PSP Go came and went. It wasn’t what you would call a smashing success. And now Sony has officially knocked another $50 off the handheld’s list price. That follows a similar $50 price drop back in October, making the handheld $150.

So what do you think? Will this new low price make you buy one? Probably not, but you can let us know in the comments below. That money may be better spent on a 3DS.

SteelSeries has announced the Siberia v2 for PS3 headset for serious gamers. This headset is for the PS3, but will still play nice with other platforms like the Xbox 360, PC and Mac. It features comfortable leather earcups for those long hours of gaming, impressive audio reproduction for optimal directional sounds, and independent audio/voice volume.

It uses lightweight material, so your ears will be comfortable for the duration of your gaming session and 50mm driver units will deliver superior sound reproduction. The SteelSeries Siberia v2 for PS3 will arrive in the third quarter for $119.99.

Do you have a spare Mini Cooper in your garage? If so, maybe you can make an awesome gaming chair out of it like Designer David Gawthorpe did with this halfcut of a Mini Cooper. It took two-years to do, but he stuck with it and the end result is pretty stunning.

It opens up to reveal a force feedback chair, speakers, a racing wheel, and pedals for all your racing games. There’s also a mini fridge, strobe lights and even a smoke machine. Beneath the seat there is an Xbox 360 console. It will cost you $12,883 (£8000) and it is in London.

Razer Chimaera Wireless Gaming Headphones for Xbox 360 and PC

Razer has some new headphones that will work with the Xbox 360 and the PC. They are called the Chimaera and are available in two styles. A standard stereo version and a 5.1 surround sound version.

Both are wireless and use rechargeable batteries. The Stereo version uses 2.4GHz wireless technology and the 5.1 version uses 5.8GHz. Both also feature a mic that can be flipped up and out of the way. Sound is handled with large 50mm neodymium drivers.

GAEMS Xbox 360 traveling case gets a price and release date

The last version of the GAEMS console-carrying case was pretty basic. It was neat, don’t get us wrong, but it was basically just a lunch box shaped suitcase for your console. Those of you who carry your Xbox 360 with you on the road will appreciate the company’s new case design.

It now supports both the fat and slim versions of the 360, not discriminating at all and it will even carry the PS3 Slim. There is now enough room to store the console, controllers and power brick. This new case also comes bundled with a remote, HDMI cable and power supply to power the speakers and LED screen.

Marvel Versus Fighting Pad

PDP, a company known for all kinds of gaming gear, has unveiled the Marvel Versus Fighting Pad. It’s a wired joypad with micro-switches for the thumb stick and six front-facing buttons. Hopefully it will improve your game.

It will be available on February 14 for $40. They only have an Xbox 360 model planned right now, but if it sells well, they will be offering a PS3 version. That artwork you see is an actual panel from a Marvel comic.

CircBoard is a great way to type on an Xbox

Entering text on say the PS3 or Xbox is a pain. Especially in game. The Circboard can improve typing on a game console. The system splits the letters into segments that can be selected with the left analog stick on an Xbox 360 controller with the right analog stick selecting the specific letter.

Shoulder bumpers are the space and backspace keys, while the left trigger handles caps. It’s just a demo still, but they hope to get the system implemented in a variety of games and apps, so they are looking for investors.

Mad Catz gets exclusive rights to Xbox 360 wireless headphones

Mad Catz, the well known manufacturers of all kinds of video game accessories has just struck a deal with Microsoft for exclusive rights to produce wireless gaming headphones for the Xbox 360.

The Mad Catz headsets will feature Dolby 5.1 technology, but other than that we have no details. We do know that we can expect these headsets in stores this holiday season. Mad Catz should do very well with this exclusive deal. Maybe next they will corner the wireless PS3 headset market.

Ostrich Leather Arcade Stick

A luxury joystick without any bling or diamonds is pretty refreshing, however, who wants an arcade stick made of Ostrich leather? The Hoon Entertainment System from Neo Legend and Hoon comes with a joystick and 10 buttons. It will play nice with the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

The hardware is made by Sanwa and some poor ostrich. Classy? Not really. Kind of weird. There’s no info on availability and pricing, but we know it won’t come cheap. Want one?

The Daily iPad Newspaper gets official

Rupert Murdoch has officially unveiled The Daily in the US. The iPad only publication is available right now in the US from iTunes. It will cost $0.99 per week or you can purchase an annual subscription for $39.99. So what do you get for that price? The Daily will feature 360 degree photos, and high definition videos for one thing.

You can also share articles from The Daily via Facebook and Twitter, and the application integrates Twitter feeds as well. The Daily will even be updated in real time with breaking news.

New Blackberry Curve image and specs

It may be at least a year until you can lay hands on the Blackberry Curve Touch,but in the meantime you can drool over some rumored specs. The phone will be called Malibu and will have CDMA – EvDo Rev A connectivity.

It will sport a Qualcomm MSM 8655 800MHz CPU and feature a 5 MP camera with HD Video recording capabilities and a 3.25″ Display with 480×360 HVGA resolution. The rest are pretty standard specs. There should be a GSM version too. Both pricing and availability are not yet announced.

Verizon iPhone 4 orders begin February 3rd

If you have been drooling over the new Verizon iPhone 4, Verizon will start taking orders on the 3rd of February, according to an email that was sent to the folks over at Mac Rumors. Apparently existing Verizon customers will be able to order the iPhone 4 from the 3rd of February, while new customers will have to wait another week.

Looks like Verizon will also be offering existing iPhone owners a deal to trade in their iPhone with the purchase a Verizon iPhone, offering from $60 for an iPhone 2G up to $360 for an 32GB iPhone 4.
