White iPhone 4 goes live at Three UK

The white iPhone 4 has been a huge pain for Apple and for anyone wanting one. But now it looks like the wait may finally be over. That’s because UK carrier Three has just put up a product page for the white smartphone.

The 32GB version is priced at £159 ($259) on a £35 per month agreement. The first white iPhone 4 handsets will ship on April 20, or this Wednesday. According to the product page at least. Hopefully this will be the end of it and you can hold it in your hands very soon.

HTC Flyer hitting Europe on May 9

The highly anticipated HTC Flyer tablet will hit European stores on May 9. That solves the question of when it will arrive in the Uk, but we still don’t know when the seven-inch Android device will be upgraded from Android 2.4 to Android 3.0 which is tablet-optimized and used by competing devices.

What about pricing? Well, earlier leaks for the UK had the unlocked 3G, 32GB version at £600 ($982). In Germany, the same device costs about the same at 669 Euros ($904).

MTS 1055 Android Tablet for Russia

MTS has just released their newest Android tablet for the Russian market. The MTS 1055 features a 7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive multitouch display, a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and a 3.0-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Other features include an FM tuner, GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a microUSB port, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3400mAh battery and Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show. The MTS 1055 will cost you 13,000 Rubles ($465 American).

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Android Tablet hits UK on March 30th

ASUS’ new Android tablet, the Eee Pad Transformer, is headed to the UK on March 30th. The device should cost between 379 GBP ($606) and 399 GBP ($639), depending on the amount of storage you choose. You can choose 16GB, 32GB or 64GB capacities.

The Eee Pad Transformer features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 512MB/1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera, and an optional full QWERTY keyboard that turns the tablet into a notebook style PC and runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

Fujitsu reveals Stylistic Q550 tablet prices

Fujitsu has unveiled a price range of £749 up to £849 for the Stylistic Q550, its business tablet. The tablet will arrive next month in two versions, one with a 32GB SSD and the other with a 64GB SSD. The tablet will also pack in an Intel ‘Oak Trail’ Atom processor and up to 2GB of RAM.

There’s also WiFi and Bluetooth, front and rear webcams, USB 2.0, HDMI, and an SD card reader with 3G and GPS as extra options.

ViewSonic’s Android/Windows 7 ViewPad 10 tablet now shipping

It took awhile, but ViewSonic’s dual-booting ViewPad 10 is finally coming to America. The dual booting Android 1.6 + Windows 7 tablet features a 10.1-inch touchpanel (1024 x 600), 1.66GHz Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

There’s also a microSD slot and a copy of Windows Home 7 Premium (with a 16GB SSD) or Windows 7 Professional (with a 32GB SSD). It will cost you $599 and $679. That’s too bad about the ancient version of Android on board.

Acer Iconia Tab W500 Tablet available for pre order in Europe

The new Acer Iconia Tab W500 Windows-based tablet is available for pre-order in Europe through several German stores for 499 Euro (or about $686). Seems a bit pricey to me, but then again I’m not a fancy European.

The Iconia Tab W500 features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen display, a 1GHz AMD C-50 APU processor, an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics card, up to 2GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a 3-cell battery and it runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Thanko pen-sized 720p camcorder

Thanko has released a tiny HD video camera in the shape of a USB stick. The Video Pen HD will shoot 720p, 30FPS videos from the pocket of your shirt. It stores the recordings onto microSDHC memory cards up to 32GB in capacity, and has a quarter-inch, five-megapixel CMOS sensor.

The video clips are 30 minutes in total, and the built-in battery will charge in three hours. Photos shoot at the full five-megapixel (3200×2400) size. An HDMI and USB cable are included and the device can also serve as a microSDHC card reader.

Hanvon HPad A112 Multimedia e-Reader

Hanvon is looking forward to showcasing their latest multimedia e-Reader at the upcoming CeBIT 2011. The device is called the HPad A112 and features a 7-inch 800 x 600 (capacitive or resistive) touchscreen display, a 720MHz ARM11 processor and a 3.0-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Other features include 2GB of flash storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), WiFi, Bluetooth, a mini HDMI port, a USB port, GPS (optional), 3G (optional), a 3300mAh battery and it runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.

Motorola Xoom gets official price: $799 unsubsidized on Verizon, $600 for WiFi-only

We now have official word on the Xoom’s pricing thanks to Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha. Reuters is reporting a price of $799 for the 32GB Honeycomb tablet when bought with 3G (which will be upgraded to 4G) from Verizon without subsidies, while a WiFi-only version will cost only $600.

That price is in line with the 32GB iPad, but the 3G Xoom is $70 more expensive than the Apple alternative. We don’t know when those models will be available, but rumor is that pre-orders or reservations could begin as early as tomorrow, with the tablet launching in full next Thursday.

The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 has a 5 inch WVGA TFT LCD display, a 1GHz processor, plus a 5.0 megapixel camera with an LED flash, and a VGA camera on the front for your video chat needs. There’s also FM Radio, a voice recorder, an accelerometer, GPS, a digital compass and 802.11 b/g/n Wifi, plus Bluetooth 3.0.

AT&T announces the HTC Freestyle

AT&T will start selling the HTC Freestyle on the 13th of February 2011. It features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, along with a 3.2 megapixel camera and runs on the Brew Mobile platform.

Other features include a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards, Stereo Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also HTC’s Sense UX interface which has a customizable home screen. The HTC Freestyle will we available for $99 with a two year contract. That’s after a $50 mail in rebate.
