The evidence continues to mount that Motorola is getting their act together. Here comes the Crush. The Crush is an EV-DO Rev.0 device that features a 2.8” touchscreen (240 x 400 pixels), a 2 megapixel camera, virtual on-screen QWERTY keypad, Stereo Bluetooth and a 3.5mm handsfree port.

Looks like the controls are located at the top of the screen which is a bit weird, but the Crush also incorporates a few other functions like a Tap to silence feature, a pedometer, microSD card support for up to 16 Gigs of additional memory and a 950 mAh battery. Motorola claims 4.5 hours of talk time.

The Atlona HDAiR Wireless USB-to-VGA/HDMI Adapter launched earlier in the year, but it was missing one crucial ingredient: Audio. Well, now it has audio in this latest incarnation.

It’s the same exact product, but now with audio output in 3.5mm analog and embedded HDMI. The $219 device is available now and is also compatible with both Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Logic3 has introduced a new and colorful line of portable speakers named the iStationGo. The speakers are all about portability with a foldable design and rounded edges that should help it easily fit into your bag.

The iStationGo comes with a protective cloth carrying case and 4 AAA batteries. Some other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack which allows you to use whichever mp3 player you want and a battery life of 15 hours.

Speakal makes some of the stranger and more interesting speaker docks on the market. They have docks for the iPhone that look like pigs and some look like other animals. The company has announced a new speaker system today called the iPom.

The iPom is designed to look like an apple with two speakers that look like flowers. The device lacks an iPod dock and makes due with a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting to devices. The speaker flowers are removable and can be positioned.

BenQ is hitting the e-Book market with the nReader K60. The device has a 6-inch touchscreen e-paper display that uses SiPix Microcup technology to produce a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with 167 dots-per-inch and 16 grey scale.

The nReader K60 features 2GB of storage, which will hold roughly 4000 books and if you ned more it’s got a microSD card slot for more storage. Some other features include WiFi, a mini USB port, USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The K60 supports a variety of file formats including ePub, PDF, TXT, HTML, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and MP3.

The typical SSD is a smaller design that is sized to fit into a notebook or netbook computer. OCZ has unveiled a new SSD that is a 3.5-inch device sized for desktops and aimed at consumers and enterprise users.

The Colossus SSD is available in up to 1TB capacity and has an internal RAID 0 configuration for speed. OCZ claims that the drive has a maximum read speed of 260MB/s and a maximum write of 260MB/s and a sustained write speed of 220MB/s.

For many people the case they choose when building their computer is based more on price than anything else. Computer cases can cost hundreds of dollars for high-end parts made from aluminum with a fancy design. NZXT makes a line of cases that tend to be among the cheapest and offer good looks and performance.

The company has announced a new case called the Tempest Evo that is a mid-tower case designed to E-ATX standards allowing it to accept larger server motherboards. The machine has lots of fans with two in the top, two in front and one on the side and in the rear included.

I’ll be honest; I don’t get the desire for video calling. I can see if you have family or friends that you don’t get to see otherwise it might be appealing. For me, I don’t want to talk to most of the people who call me, much less see them. Still if video calling is one of the things you want, Saygus has announced that its VPhone will support 2-way video calls and is the first to do so.

The VPhone will operate on the Verizon network and has a VGA quality forward facing camera for video calls and a 5MP camera on the rear with flash and autofocus for pictures. The handset has a large 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 that supports multi-touch.

Nokia has announced the Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition, a mobile handset that focuses on mobile broadcast TV (DVB-H), social networking, music and gaming all in one compact 3G slider. This handset is all about offering users a convenient way to access TV while on the run. It features a 2.4-inch QVGA color display and a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use a set of superior headphones if you like.

Some other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and One-click access to live broadcasts. The Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition will pick up all the available channels and set reminders for your favorite shows and even create personal channel lists with Nokia’s Electronic Program Guide (EPG). The battery life allows users to watch three football games or six episodes of a soap opera for example before recharging.

If you’ve been wondering when we might see 3TB drives arriving, the answer is soon. At least according to Dr Geoff Barrall, founder and CEO of Drobo. He says that Drobos will be offering a 3TB drive by April 2010. Drobo uses Western Digital drives, so there’s a good chance that it could mean that Western Digital will be outing some 3TB drives of their own very soon.

Currently Western Digital offers a 2TB Caviar Black 3.5-inch SATA drive. A 3TB, 4-platter drive would need 750GB per platter - a 50 per cent increase over what the Caviar Black has.

A sibling to the Galaxy, the i5700 has been rumored for a while. Now it has been made official by Samsung and dubbed the Galaxy Spica. Samsung’s latest Android-powered handset is just 13.2mm thick and features a 3.5mm jack, an 800MHz core, and built-in DivX support.

According to Samsung, it’s already out in Europe and will be coming to the Middle East and Asia shortly.

The desktop computer got its name because at one point the machines all sat on top of the desk rather than beside it as most do today. Dell has announced that its new Zino HD computer is now available in the U.S. and is sized to sit on the desktop again.

The Zino HD starts at only $229 and has HD capable graphics as standard. The device also has an HDMI out making it a great device for an HTPC system. Users wanting a more capable HTPC can add all sorts of options including a Blu-ray drive, more storage, more RAM, and a wireless remote.

Willcom has a new Hybrid W-Zero handset dubbed model number WS027SH. This model features PHS and W-CDMA (3.5G) connectivity and is compatible with HSUPA 7.2Mbps. It’s powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.

Some features include a 3.5″ VGA resolution touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS navigation support and a 5-megapixel camera. It also uses the “x-Crawl” GUI, allowing you to use the jog dial to scroll with the cursor sideways.

Samsung has unveiled a few images for two unannounced phones, the M3310 and B3410. The M3310 is a music-inclined dual-slider with external music controls that features stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, integrated FM radio with RDS, a 2.1″ QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel and a microSD memory card slot. It will be available in black and white.

The Samsung B3410 offers a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.6″ QVGA display, TouchWiz 2.0 UI, quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.

Sony Ericsson has launched the MW600 Wireless Stereo Headset with FM Radio. It features advanced Bluetooth technology as well as a built-in FM radio.

Some other features include an OLED display, easy access controls, RDS radio station information, and a 3.5mm jack, making it easy to swap headphones. The Sony Ericsson MW600 is compatible with the Sony Ericsson J132, K330, T280i, W200i, and Xperia X10.
