Buffalo external 2.5HDD: Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman |
Buffalo has released a new external 2.5 HDD It’s available in Ruby Red, Crystal Black, and Pearl White. The Buffalo HD-PEU2-RD 2.5 Inch external hard disk drive comes with a capacity ranging from 250GB to 500GB.
It was specially designed for women with its sleek design and colors, though presumably a man can use it too without being laughed at and branded a sissy. The Buffalo HD-PEU2-RD external HDD is compatible with both PC and Mac. It’s just like all the others, but in a nicer body.




The Netbook arena is jam packed, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for one more manufacturer. In this case, OEM hardware maker OCZ. They’ve launched their first netbook, the OCZ Neutrino. The OCZ Neutrino will come with a 10 inch LED backlit LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 2GB memory, and the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor.

LaCie’s LaCinema Rugged was announced late last month for those across the ocean, which left us Americans wondering if we would ever get to see it here in the US. Notebooks are still one of the most hoped for items on many holiday wish lists despite the poor economy. Many who hope to get a notebook as a gift want a small and portable system like the one Toshiba has introduced to the US.
It used to be that a portable hard drive had to be plugged into the wall AC outlet to be able to operate. Over time, some smaller capacity hard drives could be powered by the USB port totally, making them much more portable. Today even some larger capacity portable drives are powered by the USB port.
