Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation 3Final Fantasy fans will want to save up their money for this one. At the Tokyo Game Show press conference today, Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase unveiled the special FFXIII-themed limited edition PlayStation 3.

As you can see, the FFXIII PS3 is pink on white, with a “Lightning” theme along with FFXIII branding. Under the hood, it will be a 250GB model. If you don’t mind the pink, then consider this a Christmas present to yourself. It’ll be available on December 17 in Japan.

Several 250GB PS3 bundles headed to EuropeDeny everything. That’s Sony’s stance on plans of a 250GB PS3 bundle for the US. Problem is, the rumors just keep on coming. According to Joystiq, the inventory screen shown above is from a supposed Norwegian GameStop employee. It shows five different 250GB PS3 bundles.

Specifically Ratchet & Clank, Assassin’s Creed 2, FIFA 10, Need for Speed: Shift, and Uncharted 2. Prices are apparently the same for each (an $85 increase over the standard 120GB model).

LG intros XPION X30 nettop with NVIDIA ION graphicsLG just unveiled its first small desktop computer dubbed the XPION X30. It’s powered by the NVIDIA ION graphics chipset which can easily handle HD video playback as well as graphically demanding applications, even running on an Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor.

Along for the ride are 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. It’s powered by Windows Vista, but will likely come with Windows 7 very shortly. No word on price just yet.

herculesecafeThe netbook market is getting very crowded today with companies that don’t even make computers getting in on the segment. That means that many of netbooks out there are the same machine with different brand names. The latest non-computer maker to get into the netbook market is Hercules.

Hercules is a company more known for its line of gaming peripherals than anything else. The firm has announced its new eCafe EC-1000W netbook will ship in October for $399. The netbook has a cool design with a lid different from anything else on the market.

250GB PlayStation 3 slim Uncharted 2 bundleWell looky here. We just got news of an 250GB Xbox 360 and now this. A leaked image of a PlayStation 3 slim bundle for Uncharted 2 that also sports a 250GB hard drive.

According to Engadget, they have confirmed that it’s legit, but other than that, there’s no word on when it will be announced or any info on a price or release date. A good guess would be that we will see it hit retail in mid-October alongside Uncharted 2, but no one knows.

MSI Wind U210 Now Available

msiu210If you have been holding out for a notebook that cost about the same as a netbook, but had a bit more power and a larger screen it may be time for you to buy. MSI has announced that the U210 is now available in America on both Newegg.com and Amazon.

The machine sells for about $473 and features a 12.1-inch HD screen with a native resolution of 1366 x 768. Graphics for the little notebook are via ATI Radeon X1250. MSI uses its slick EDS keyboard with keys 51% larger than those on a standard keyboard for better typing fell and ease of use.

MS preps 250GB Xbox 360 for Modern Warfare 2Modern Warfare 2 fans have something else to smile about. Infinity Ward has confirmed Microsoft’s plans for a 250GB Xbox 360 Elite with details of a special bundle for the game. The Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition bundle includes the mentioned added capacity along with a custom paint job on the console. There’s also two wireless gamepads and of course the game itself.

The bundle should already be available for pre-order for $399, which is a great buy when you price each of the items separately. No word on when the console will hit stores. Microsoft also isn’t saying whether it will have any other 250GB versions.

Aegis Padlock Secure Hard DriveApricorn has introduced its Aegis Padlock Secure Hard Drive that sports a keypad so that users can enter PIN numbers to access the data inside. So if you lose the drive, it can’t be accessed without the PIN number. This drive also features AES-128 or 256 bit encryption to keep things safe when connected to your machine through a USB 2.0 cable and it’s cross-platform compatible.

Another interesting aspect is an administrator feature that allows you to set up to ten user IDs and one administrator, so that others can have direct access to the information. Some other features include a 16-point omnidirectional shock mounting system and it will come in 250GB, 320GB and 500GB storage capacities.

Asus unveils Eee Top ET2002T All-In-One PCAsus recently announced their upcoming all-in-one PC, the Eee Top ET2002T, for the European market. The system gives you a 20-inch touchscreen display with 1600 x 900 resolution, an Intel Atom 330 dual core CPU, an NVIDIA ION graphics card.

Some other features include 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a DVD burner and an HDMI input. The ET2002T will go be available in Europe in a few short weeks for €598 ($846).

You’ll have to make some sacrifices. It doesn’t have a webcam, or HDMI and no memory card reader. Other than that, it’s not bad. This entry level L355 is only $348 and goes on sale at Walmart this Sunday.

Sure, there’s no HD, webcam and the processor is on thew slow end, but if you do not do any serious computing, it’s a winner. It features 3GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.

Verbatim has announced a new external hard drive line called the SureFire series that sports both FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 connectivity. The drive is compatible with Mac and Windows PCs. When used with a USB port no external power adapter is needed.
