Asus has another new netbook with the launch of the Eee PC Sirocco 1015PW netbook. It is basically a 1015PW netbook with a new textured paint job to make it look cooler. It comes with a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, and your choice of either a 320GB or 250GB hard drive.

Some other features include a 10 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, Bluetooth 3.0 and integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi. Sadly, there are no details on pricing or availability yet.

The BlackBerry Dakota which we first heard about in July, is pictured here in a photo from BGR. It features a 2.8-inch (VGA resolution) capacitive touchscreen with the BlackBerry Bold-style keyboard. It looks pretty handsome.

Other features include the fact that it’s a quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE device with tri-band UMTS, there’s a 5 megapixel cam with HD video recording, 4GB of storage, and 768MB of RAM. The phone will also have WiFi and be 3G hotspot-enabled, and will run BlackBerry OS 6.1. No word on pricing or availability yet.

As expected, the Verizon iPhone has arrived. Now millions of people can head over to Verizon from AT&T, for the CDMA (non-LTE) version of the iPhone 4 starting next month. The phone is said to have been in testing for over a year, and it will be available on February 10th for $200 (16GB).

Qualified Verizon Wireless customers will be given the opportunity to pre-order the iPhone 4 online on February 3rd. If you want a 32GB model, the price is $300. Verizon iPhone owners will also enjoy personal hotspot capability (up to 5 users connected simultaneously).

We can never have enough storage options these days and this latest is from Western Digital, who has announced a new storage capacity for its Scorpio Black hard drive line, by launching this 750GB model.

This 2.5-inch hard drive features an SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, 16MB of buffer and works at 7200 RPM. If you like how this one is spinning, the 750GB Scorpio Black is priced at just $149. That’s a pretty decent price.

Acer has announced its latest Predator Series gaming rig, the AG3600. This beast looks great. Some of the specs include a 2nd generation Intel Core i5 2300 CPU, with Intel’s H67 chipset and Turbo Boost 2.0, discrete NVIDIA GeForece GT 420 graphics, 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM, and a 1.5TB SATA hard drive.

Aside from that it also packs in a multicard reader, three PCI Express x1 slots, 10 USB 2.0 ports, three audio ins, mini HDMI, DVI and a D-SUB port. And you can get it fast since the Predator AG3600 is available now for around $899.

Today Archos has started shipping their larger capacity Archos 70 with a spinning 250GB hard drive. This new larger capacity Archos 70 250GB shares nearly all the same specifications of the SSD version, including 800 x 480 pixel (WVGA) multi-touch screen, 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor with 3D OpenGL ES 2.0 graphic accelerator and HDMI output.

The main differences would be the lack of a Micro SD card slot, along with the expected increase in size and weight to accommodate the large 250GB HDD. The Archos 70 250Gb version is available for $350 with the Archos 70 8GB SSD version costing $275.

Toshiba has a new netbook called the NB550D which will be powered by a dual core 1GHz AMD C50 (Ontario) processor, along with a 10-inch display with AMD’s very own Radeon HD 6250M graphics chipset, Harman Kardon speakers, a 6-cell battery good for up to 9.5 hours of run time, HDMI ouput, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0, 1GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive.

It will be powered by Windows 7 Home Premium and will come in the odd colors of green, orange, or brown. Aside from the colors it sounds decent.

Why wait for CES when you can announce something today, right? Onkyo has just unveiled its TA117, supporting both Microsoft and Google. Two models will be made available, the TA117C3 and TA117C1. Both have a 10.1-inch touch panel (1024 x 600 resolution), Android 2.2, NVIDIA’s Tegra 250 (1GHz), 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a microSD expansion slot, USB 2.0 connectivity (x2), HDMI out and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

There’s also a docking port to use with an optional stand. The C1 has 512MB of DDR2 RAM along with 8GB of integrated storage, while the C3 has 1GB of memory and 16GB of NAND. No word yet on price or a release date.

The name Polaroid conjures up images of instant cameras, not MP3 players. Nevertheless the company is branching out into the MP3 player market with the release of its Polaroid 8GB MP4 player. The device features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display and a microSD card expansion up to 32GB.

It also includes a built-in speaker, so you can enjoy your music and videos without using earphones. If you like what this guy offers, it is available for $59.99.

E FUN has begun shipping their latest Android tablet, the ‘Nextbook Next3′ in the US via HSN’s online store. The tablet is priced at $199.95 and offers an 8.4-inch 800 x 600 touchscreen display, along with 2GB of internal storage and an SD card slot.

You’ll also get WiFi, a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headset jack and it runs Android 2.1 OS. The tablet also comes pre-loaded with the Borders eBook app and 25 free books for those who like to read.

The Scooterputer takes portability to a whole new level. It comes from modder Stephen Popa. This is basically a Thermaltake Element V case with plenty of gaming power sitting on a 24v rechargeable electric scooter that has been stretched a full 11 inches to maker room for the computer.

The computer case has an Intel i7 processor inside, along with 4GB RAM, GTS 250 graphics card, three RAIDed hard drives, USB 3.0 port, dual layer DVD burner, Thermaltake TR2 1200 Watt power supply and it’s water cooled with Thermaltake Big water 850I kit.

Many set top boxes are boring, but that’s not the case here. Free, an ISP in France, has introduced the Freebox v6 Revolution, a set-top box designed by Philippe Starck. The device offers a 250GB hard drive and an internal 802.11n Wi-Fi module, Blu-ray drive, web browser, Intel’s Atom CE4100 media processor and also a motion-sensing remote.

So you will get live/streaming TV options, Internet, gaming and even at-home calling. What can’t it do? They also throw in a joystick and a pair of powerline adapters. The device is already available for pre-order and will cost you between EUR59.99 ($80) to EUR119.99 ($161). Not bad considering all it does.

Seagate has introduced their new Server-specific enterprise hard drive. The 2.5-inch hard drive will have a total capacity of 1TB. It’s dubbed the Constellation.2 and it can be used by small to medium businesses as well as large enterprises. It can be used in directed attached storage (DAS), network attached storage (NAS) and storage area network (SAN) environments.

It should give IT managers more options to meet capacity requirements. The Constellation.2 is available in 250GB, 500GB and 1TB capacities and promises 6-GB/s SATA or 6GB/s serial-attached SCSI interface options.

Remember that Fluid tablet that was supposed to arrive before Christmas? Well, it is here as promised. Sort of. Amazon started selling the Fluid Stream 10-inch Windows 7 tablet, but now it is just as quickly listed as out of stock.

The device packs a multi-touch display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution, a 1.66 Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an HDMI output.

Toshiba is packing stereo Harman Kardon speakers with two watts each in their latest laptop, along with an Atom N550 processor, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB HDD, 10 hours of battery life, and a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlit display. Finally a laptop that will wake the dead.

But if you want something quieter, there’s also the NB500, which has the same specs but without the sound system and stepping down to an Atom N455, while it rocks a lower price. Both ship in the first quarter of 2011.
