Nokia N8 gets official with 12MP Camera and 720p Video Recording

Nokia has now announced the N8. It has a 12MP camera with Xenon flash, and runs the Symbian^3 platform. In fact it’s Nokia’s first Symbian^3 phone. The camera has Carl Zeiss optics and the Xenon flash most Nokias are equipped with. It can also record video in 720p and with it’s HDMI output, can play footage on your HDTV.

Some other specs include a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, 16GB of storage, expandable up to 48GB with a microSD memory card and free Ovi Maps is included.

Dell Lightning Windows Phone 7 device leaks

The Dell Lightning is a Windows Phone 7 portrait slider. Specs on this bad boy include: a 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, WVGA 4.1-inch OLED display, AT&T and T-Mobile 3G, five megapixel autofocus camera, 1GB of flash with 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on a MicroSD card, GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM radio, and full Flash support including video playback.

The ship date is scheduled for Q4, indicating that this is a WP7 launch device, and apparently Flash won’t make it into the OS initially. But this device is getting an upgrade to LTE in Q4 of 2011.

Samsung SCH-U820 Reality gets official on Verizon Wireless

If you’re looking for a feature phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, you’ll be glad to know that Verizon Wireless has officially announced the Samsung Reality (SCH-U820). The device will be available starting April 22nd from Verizon Wireless for $79.99. That’s after a $50 mail-in rebate, bundled with the customary 2-year contract.

HTC Incredible specs land on Verizon site

We already know that he HTC incredible will be landing on the Verizon network later this month. The full specs for the device have now turned up on the Verizon website.

The handset will have a 3.7-inch 480 x 800 OLED touch screen with a virtual QWERTY keyboard. The handset also sports an 8MP camera with video capture and auto focus.

The guys over at BGR got their hands on the full specifications for the upcoming HTC Incredible. It will pack in 3.7 inch WVGA OLED capacitive touchscreen display, and will be powered by a 1GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor.

Some other specs include 8GB of memory built in and a microSD card slot for up to a 32GB card. There’s also 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, dual band EV-DO Rev.A, and an 8 megapixel camera, accelerometer and it will run Android 2.1 with HTC’s Sense UI.

DTN-X750 PND from TryWin Japan

Trywin of Japan has unveiled the new DTN-X750 portable navigation device which will retail for about €325 should you need to find your way around the country. It features a 5″ LCD touchscreen display at 800 x 480 resolution, 4GB of internal memory, a 1Seg TV tuner so you can watch TV shows, a 1W monoaural speaker and is compatibility with a bunch of audio and video files.

The internal memory can be expanded with a microSDHC memory card. As for battery life, you can only expect 1.5 hours so make your journey a short one.

SanDisk to ship 32GB microSDHC card this month

There are lots of smartphones and PMPs out there that offer storage expansion via microSDHC slots. None of the popular Apple devices do though. If you have a device with a microSDHC slot and you want a massive capacity card SanDisk has your fix.

SanDisk has announced that it will be the first maker to ship a 32GB microSDHC card. The new card uses 32nm X3 technology allowing the storage of 3-bits of data per cell. This tech is key to the massive storage capacity of the card.

Digital cameras are great things and even older folks like my parents are getting into taking digital photos today. My mom has a ton of photos from when I was a kid that she wants in digital format for her digital frame.

Archos unveils new MP3 Players

No official announcement about these yet, but Archos will be adding a few MP3 players to its Vision line. The leak contains six players, but some aren’t worth mentioning. Some of the more notable devices include the A14VG Vision (above), which is a compact player with a 1.4-inch display, 4GB memory, and FM tuner.

The A15VS Vision is a slim player only 6mm thick with FLAC support and will cost 40 Euros for a 4GB model. The A30VC Vision features a 3-inch touchscreen, a camera and 14-hour battery life. The 8GB model will cost 90 Euros. The A32VB Vision has a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 8GB internal memory, a microSD card expansion and will cost 100 Euros.

T-Mobile HTC HD2 to get new mobile entertainment features

The HTC HD2 has been around for a while now on carriers in Europe. The handset is set to come this year to the T-Mobile network here in America. T-Mobile announced at MWC 2010 today that the handset will get some cool entertainment features.

The HD2 will get a Barnes & Noble eReader app, Blockbuster on Demand movies, MobiTV support, and will be Gogo in-flight internet ready. The handset will also ship with Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen pre-installed on the microSD card the device ships with.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and Xperia X10 mini pro

We’d been hearing some murmurs about Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10 mini, but it’s the X10 mini pro that’s a surprise. They are nearly identical except for launch colors. The mini ships in black, pearl white, lime, pink, red and silver, while the mini pro comes in just black and red flavors. There’s also a bit of a size difference, and the pro features a QWERTY keyboard.

They run Android 1.6 on a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 and will ship in both North American and global 3G variants. Some other features include quad-band EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and they come with a 2GB microSD card.
