Teclast is offering their new Android tablet called the P72. As far as specs, the device has a 7.0-inch 800 x 480 resistive multi-touch display, a Renesas ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.

Other specs include 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, Flash 10.2 support, 1080p Full HD video playback support, WiFi, 3G card support, a 4000mAh battery and Android 2.2. The P72 will cost you 799 Yuan ($125). Interested?

Samsung Galaxy S II Coming To The US In August

Samsung has to be very happy about sales of their new Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone in Europe and other countries. They have already sold more than 3 million S II handsets, but in the US, Samsung still hasn’t released it.

Now it looks like we may have a firm launch date. According to the president of Samsung mobile, Shin Jong-Kyun, the Galaxy S II will arrive in the US in August, but we still don’t know an exact date. To refresh your memory, the Samsung Galaxy S II features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and also comes with a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot.

Lenovo is ready to launch a new Windows 7 tablet, even though Windows 8 is coming soon. The IdeaPad P1 features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) capacitive touchscreen display with a 1.5GHz Intel processor.

Other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a front-facing 2-megapixel webcam, USB 2.0, a microSD memory card slot, up to 2GB DDR2 RAM and up to a 64GB SSD. Lenovo is expecting to launch the IdeaPad P1 in Q4 of this year. They should have waited for Windows 8.

Amazon is now selling the ViewSonic ViewBook VB730 for just $230. The device features a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512MB of RAM, an HDMI port with 1080p playback and a stylus for input.

MagicTile Marathon 10-inch Android Tablet

EAFT is set to release the Magictile Marathon tablet for the India market. The device features a 10.1-inch (1024×600) display, a 1GHz Tegra 2 CPU, 512MB of RAM and the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

The MagicTile Marathon supports 3G, has a 1.3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1080p video playback via HDMI output. The rechargeable battery delivers up to 8-hours of use. It comes with a 16GB microSD card to get you started. It will cost you Rs. 29,990 or about $675.

Viewsonic’s ViewBook VB730 is now in stock at Amazon for $229.99. That price gets you a 7-inch slate with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi, a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot and an 800 x 480 screen resolution.

Just realize that you won’t be getting Android 3.2. Instead, you will get Froyo. What did you expect for that low price? Still, that’s not bad, all things considered for these specs.

As if you don’t have enough tablet options to choose from, here is another option. This one is the latest Android tablet from Teclast, called the T720SE.

This new device features a 7.0-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display, a 624MHz RK2818 processor, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot and it runs Android 2.2. The T720SE retails for 499 Yuan (or about $77), but remember that you get what you pay for.

Rollei Bullet HD Action Camera

Rollei has unveiled an action camera that looks like a bullet, so it is naturally called the Bullet HD. And like a bullet it is rugged, but the casing here is made from aluminum. The camera features a 12 megapixel CMOS sensor, and a 170 degree wide angle lens.

This bullet can also record HD video in 720p, and features a built in microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards.

Sony Ericsson CK15a txt pro QWERTY slider hits the FCC

Sony Ericsson’s txt pro CK15a entry-level smartphone went through it’s paces at through the FCC today. The device has a sliding landscape QWERTY keypad and runs a proprietary Sony Ericsson OS. Like the name suggests, the txt pro is all about messaging, and features Gmail, Google Talk, Twitter, Facebook and txt apps.

Other features include a 3-inch screen with a 400 x 240 resolution, 64MB of RAM, up to 100MB of internal storage, microSD card support up to 32GB, a 3.2MP camera and up to 400 hours of standby time. Nothing on pricing or availability yet though.
