Is your storage lacking pretty colors? If so, why not spice things up with these Store ‘n’ Go drives. They are pretty standard 500GB HDDs, but they come in Caribbean blue and hot pink. So why not color coordinate your gear.

The drives sport USB 3.0 and come loaded with Nero BackItUp software. They retail for $100 from Verbatim’s site if you want a splash of color and you have to have it now.

Haven’t gone 3D yet. You are far from the only one. But if you want to get your 3D on, ViewSonic is offering this 24-inch V3D245 monitor. It features a 1080p LED-backlit panel, an NVIDIA 3D Vision wireless emitter and a pair of 3D Vision glasses.

Other features include a 120Hz refresh rate, two millisecond response time, HDMI 1.4 socket and 300 nits of brightness. There’s also a three-year limited warranty. It will cost you $499 later this month.

Sharp has announced not one, not two, but three Aquos BDXL 3D DVRs in Japan. The Sharp BD-HDW80, BD-HDW75 and BD-HDW73. They each feature a 1TB HDD, a 500GB and a 320GB HDD.

All three also feature a dual Digital TV tuner and an improved dubbing system. Of course these units will let you record your favorite TV shows and movies and store them on the built-in HDD to view them whenever you like. The Sharp BD-HDW80, BD-HDW75 and BD-HDW73 also support WiFi and the latest 100GB BD-RE XL discs. No word on price yet.

Netbooks are cool, but they aren’t arcade cabinets. Not typically. But with the Nanocade you can have both. It’s a kit from designer Rasmus Sorensen that lets you turn a netbook or mini-ITX motherboard and 10.1-inch display into a laptop arcade cabinet.

If you have a spare netbook to make this happen, the kit ships in March and it is easy to do. As long as you have the $349 plus shipping that is. It’s totally worth it.

TDK has revealed there latest flagship headphones in the TDK TH-ST800. These are made from fine leather and pack in large 50 mm diameter driver units with powerful neodymium magnets. They produce an output power of 250mW x 2, a frequency response of 20-20.000Hz, a sensitivity at 1KHz for 111 +/- 3dB and an input impedance of 32 Ohms.

Other features include volume and mute controls on the right hand ear-cup and an LED music visualizer on the cable. They also have an integrated EQ controller so you can tune your sound directly from your headphone audio cable.

Tokyoflash has released its latest watch design, the Kisai RPM. This is the first concept to become a reality from the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog and it is based on an idea from a Tokyoflash fan from the UK, James Fursedon.

The Tokyoflash Kisai RPM is easy to read, unlike some of their watches. The hours are shown on the inner ring, while five minute intervals are shown on the outer ring. Four single minutes are positioned at the top of the display along side the AM/PM indicator. Lights showing the current time will flash for several seconds to make it easier to read.

TomTom has announced a pair of new satnavs that bring new hardware as well as updated software. Some of the new software features include pinch-to-zoom and a swipe to screen function. The route calculation has also been upgraded. The new route planning section of TomTom can now calculate routes instantly.

Other features include: Crisp, sharp graphics and intuitive user menus, Bluetooth hands free calling, Voice recognition, a click & lock mount and 4.3” or 5” glass touch screens.

We’ve seen our share of 3D glasses hit the market, but now high-end fashion company Gucci will be releasing their own 3D glasses. You can expect them around December for $225.

The glasses have “optically correct 6-base curved lenses” with a “high tech multi-layered mirrored coating which allows the wearer to view themselves in a mirror without distortion”. Would you pay $225 for a pair of retro looking 3D glasses?

Sennheiser has expanded its gaming headset lineup with four new sets. There’s the flagship Sennheiser PC 360, the surround sound PC 333D and PC 163D, and the PC 330 G4ME.

These should make your games sound pretty awesome. The flagship PC 360s have been available overseas for some time, but now they’re arriving in the U.S. for $299. They feature Sennheiser Open-Aire speaker technology, sport a volume control on the right ear cup, and the mic can be muted just by lifting it up. These should make gaming easier on the ears, while not hitting the wallet too hard.

Aimed at professionals and available in two different versions with Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional (AT-100P) and Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 (AT-100), the PREa is Canon’s new HandyTerminal.

Both models have the same basic hardware with an OMAP3505 CPU @ 600MHz, 256MB of DDR-SDRAM and 256MB of Flash Disk, a microSD slot, a 3.5” QVGA screen, IrDA 1.2 SIR, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi ABG and a rugged body that can handle a 1.5m fall on hard concrete and it’s IP54 compliant, (Which means that it is protected against dust and against water sprayed from all directions).

Microsoft’s Bing search engine has just overtaken Yahoo and is now in the second place spot for search engine’s in the US. That means it is now going to go up against Google, the top dog. At least according to The Nielsen Company.

In August alone, Bing grew from 13.6 percent to 13.9 percent of the US search market. Yahoo declined from 14.3 percent to 13.1 percent. While Google’s share went up from 64.2 percent in July to 65.0 percent. Google shouldn’t worry though. With Bing and Yahoo combined, their search share of 27.0 percent is still less than Google’s.

Panasonic has unveiled a new camcorder that grabs the title of world’s first micro four-thirds camcorder. The camera is rather big and bulky looking and reminds me of the old camcorders from the 80′s with its square design.

The camcorder is called the AG-AF105 and it has interchangeable lenses using the micro four-thirds system. The camera apparently works with the same lenses the still cameras from Panasonic support. The large image sensor allows for wide-angle video.

Say cloud storage to a bunch of geeks and we start to think about storing our photos and other important content online rather than locally. There are lots of cloud-based storage options around and not all of them are what you think.

A new design concept shelf for the wall that looks like a cloud has brought cloud storage to a new meaning. The design concept looks like a puffy cloud and is called Shelf Cumulus. It is made from metal and painted white.

Back when I was in grade school, we had to look up words in the dictionary as punishment. I hated it. Today people don’t really use dictionaries; most of us just look up words online. The online use of one of the oldest dictionaries around called the Oxford English Dictionary has grown so much, the next version may not even be offered in print.

The third edition of the Oxford dictionary will be ready to publish in about ten years; it is only about a quarter complete right now. While the second edition printed in 1989 has sold 30,000 volumes, the online version is much more popular.
