The QA1 Karma will be available for $79.99 after mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement for wireless voice plans of $39.99 a month or higher and a $20 a month data or messaging plan. New Toshiba Satellite laptops for EuropeToshiba has a few new Satellite laptops landing in Europe. The A500 features a 16-inch, 16:9 format display (1366 x 768), a TV-tuner for analog and digital DVB-T programming, Harman Kardon speakers and HDMI ports with REGZA LINK technology. Inside it packs an Intel Core 2 Duo, 8GB memory, ATI Mobility Radeon HD GPU (up to 1GB DDR3 VRAM), and either a 500GB HDD or 64GB SSD.

For those looking for an ultra-portable, the U500 is a 13.3-inch (16:10 format, 1280 x 800) ultraportable that weighs under 4.5 pounds. Under the hood you’ll find an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 8 GB memory, a hard disk capacity of up to 500GB, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 GPU. panasonichdcamcorder-sbCamcorders are getting smaller and smaller with each new generation of devices. I’m not sure how small the camcorder can go, but soon we might be wearing them like glasses. Small and light is a good thing in a camera you have to hold up through that 3rd grade play.

Panasonic has unveiled what it claims to be the world’s lightest HD camcorders weighing 0.5 pounds. The camcorders are the HDC-SD10 and the HDC-TM10. The two cameras are very similar with the exception of storage. The SD10 stores video only to SDHC/SD memory cards.

New 15-Inch MacBook Pro features 7-Hour Battery Life, SD card slotToday Apple announced new MacBook Pro models with the same upgraded, 7-hour battery life as the 17-inch MacBook Pro, more memory, a processor upgrade, and storage, as well as an SD-card slot. They are shipping today.

According to Apple, the battery will last 5 years or 1,000 recharges since it’s non-removable. The base model features a 3.06 GHz Dual Core Intel processor, 4GB of memory, a 250GB 5400rpm HDD, and an upgraded display at $1,699. That’s $300 less than the current model. If you want to upgrade to a 2.66GHz processor with a 320GB hard drive, that’ll cost you $1,999, while the 2.8GHz model with a 500GB hard drive will hit at $2,299.

Samsung unveils Pixon 12 camera phone

samsungpixon12-sbAll of the phones I have ever owned, including my iPhone, seem to have the camera added as an afterthought. The camera on most phones is junk that won’t take a decent picture, especially in low light. The crap camera is my biggest complaint on my iPhone.

Samsung has taken a different route with its new Pixon 12 camera phone. The camera is the big draw for the device with 12-megapixels of resolution and a full touchscreen. The camera has autofocus and the user can touch the touchscreen to tell the camera where to focus in the shot they frame up.

PSP Go leaks out before E3We’ll here it is. Photos of the new PSP have arrived. The PSP Go improves upon it’s predecessor by making games available via wireless download or on Memory Stick Micro cards. No more UMD!

The device will feature 16GB of on-board flash memory for storage of downloadable games, movies and music from the Playstation Network. The controller slides out from under the screen to maximize screen size while keeping the console light and small. There’s Bluetooth and WiFi as well.

Panasonic develops world’s lightest full HD camcordersPanasonic has delivered the HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 camcorders, which weigh less than 230g. And so they are being touted as the lightest camcorders with full high-definition capabilities. At least until someone beats them with something even lighter.

They’ll record 1080p video in AVCHD format and boast 16x optical zoom and Advanced O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) technology. Both record to SD/SDHC memory cards, but the HDC-TM10 also comes with 8GB of onboard storage capacity.

Therefore Panasonic is claiming that they are the lightest full HD camcorders in the world. Both models can record 1,920 x 1,080 HD images and sport 16x optical zoom, touchscreen control, iA with AF tracking and Advanced Optical Image Stabilizer to counter your unsteady hand.

The SD10 uses the SD/SDHC memory card to store your recordings, while the TM10 uses 8GB internal memory and an SD/SDHC memory card slot.

Samsung has announced a pair of new camcorders that are more for the parents than for kids looking for a cheap camcorder for YouTube uploads. The camcorders include the SMX-C14 and the SMX-C10. The two units are virtually identical with each offering the same ergonomic design and Touch of Color looks.

Samsung N310 3G mini netbookSamsung Korea has launched the N310 premium netbook in Korea. You wouldn’t know it by looking, but it’s a winner of the international design award. The N310 sports a curved-design with a finish that is said to be like a pebble.

Some other features of the N310 are a 10.1 inch LCD screen, Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160 Gig hard drive. It has support for Wi-Fi, HSDPA and WiBRO, comes with three USB ports, a 1.3 Megapixel camera and a 3 in 1 memory card reader.
