Among the gear set to be shown off at CES, Origin PC will be showcasing its Hybrid Liquid-Cooled Xbox 360 Gaming Computer. It’s a high-end gaming PC and also new slimmed-down Xbox 360 console that’s liquid-cooled.

This new Hybrid PC Xbox system features an Intel Core i7 930 processor overclocked to 4.9GHz, dual NVIDIA GTX480 graphics cards and 6GB of Corsair Dominator memory, overclocked to 1,600MHz. That is some serious power.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab that went on sale with LG U+ last week is getting some pretty impressive sales figures. We’re talking around 1,000 units per day. LG is obviously happy with these numbers. LG U+ has a variety of plans to go along with the Galaxy Tab, plus they are selling it for free if you commit to a three-year contract.

As for its specifications, it is the same as the SKT version, including a 1GHz processor, a 7-inch WSVGA LCD display, Android 2.2 Froyo, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 3G and T-DMB support, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot.

The Panasonic VIERA TH L42G3 is a 42-inch HDTV with an IPS LED-backlit full HD display and an SDXC memory card reader. This allows you to record HD television shows directly to the card for later playback. SDXC cards support up to 64 GB in capacity and will give you 5 hours of full HD content.

But that’s not all. You can also connect an external hard drive into the USB port to record more content. Of course what you record can only be viewed on the VIERA set, which is sad. You also get an Ethernet port, two HDMI ports, VIERA LINK, and DLNA support.

If you pre-ordered the eLocity A7 tablet, customers will begin receiving the tablets on Monday, according to maker Stream TV Networks. The seven inch tablet is touted as being the first to use Android 2.2 in the US and is available through Amazon and other sites for $370.

The dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor lets it play back 3D movies and more advanced games. Some other features include 512MB of RAM, 4GB of flash storage and a microSDHC memory card slot for adding up to 32GB of extra content. There is also a USB port and an HDMI output as well as a 1.3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and two 0.5W speakers.

We always need more memory and so Patriot Memory has just added two new storage capacities to its LX Class 10 microSDHC card line-up with the announcement of 16GB and 32GB models.

Both of these cards meet the SD Associations Class 10 specifications, and promise to deliver transfer speeds of at least 10MB/s. Right now, we just don’t have any word on pricing yet.

As a general rule, SD cards are not tough. They’re wimpy and easily broken. Not this one though. The Raw Steel Super Tough SD card from Hoodman has protective metal imbedded in the front to make it extremely rugged.

The storage device is also made using epoxy, so it is waterproof as well. Sounds like this memory card is tougher than your digital camera. It’s available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB of storage sizes and the SDHC cards will be released on November 15th.

If the Samsung Galaxy Tab is your tablet of choice, then you might want to check out the new Samsung KDDI SMT-i9100 Android tablet. The device is sexy looking and is powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS.

The SMT-i9100 features a 7-inch multitouch display with WSVGA resolution (1024×600), Wi-Fi, CDMA 1x, 3G, 4GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM, Bluetooth, a microSDHC card and a 2MP digital camera.

Nokia just launched their latest inexpensive touchscreen smartphone, the C5-03. This budget phone is powered by Symbian^1. And even though it is a budget phone, it features a compass and A-GPS feature that can be used with the latest version of the free Ovi Maps hands-free navigation service.

The resistive touchscreen instead of a multi-touch capacitive display is lame, but the features aren’t too bad though. You get a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Compass, Ovi Maps, 40MB of user memory, microSD card support up to 16GB, 11.5-hour talktime on GSM, 4.5-hours on 3G, 24-25 day standby time, Symbian^1, and a 5-megapixel camera.

HP’s Pavilion Elite HPE-490t is the powerful desktop computer you’ve been looking for. It’s powered by the quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and is priced at only $1,075.

Other features include 9GB DDR3 memory, a 1TB hard drive, a 1GB Radeon HD 5450 graphics, an HDMI port, a 16X DVD+/-RW LightScribe, Gigabit Ethernet, a 15-in-1 card reader, a multimedia keyboard and mouse, and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

ViewSonic at IFA gave away many of the details surrounding its dual-booting ViewPad tablet. Now dubbed the ViewPad 100, the 10-inch tablet runs on a 1.66GHz Atom and uses either Windows 7 or the now old Android 1.6; either side supports multi-touch. It uses just a 16GB solid-state drive, but an SDHC card slot provides most of the bulk storage.

Many of the other specs are similar to those of a current netbook. It outputs at a native 1024×600 display and holds 1GB of DDR3 memory. There’s Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi, with two USB ports, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a VGA video output.

The WePad may sound like a Nintendo version of the iPad, but it’s no toy. It’s selling like gangbusters in Germany, where it has outsold Apple’s iPad.

Looking at the specs should tell you why. To refresh your memory, some specifications include an 11.6 inch display screen, an Atom N450 processor, 1 GB RAM, a 16GB/32GB SSD option, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, UMTS, a 1.3 megapixel processor, HD recording via a Broadcom Crystal HD Card and Windows 7.

Tablets everywhere are bumping shoulders,cameras,bezels and touchscreens as the market gets way too overcrowded, but that isn’t stopping manufacturers from outing more of em. The TEGA V2 tablet stands out a bit as it runs Windows 7 and sports some netbook-like specifications.

Those specs include an Intel Atom N455 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, an SD/SDHC memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 3G, WiMAX and WiBro. It comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities with a 10-inch multitouch display.

The latest tablet to hit the scene comes from Korean company KT, who has released the Identity TAB, Korea’s first Android tablet. This one is an affordable touchscreen tablet.

Some features include a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 7-inch multitouch screen, 8GB of internal memory, a DMB TV tuner, a Gyro-sensor, a 3MP digital camera, Wi-Fi, and an SD card reader. The Toshiba SmartPad will now be known as the Toshiba Folio 100. We now know about the name change, but specs for the Folio 100 have leaked as well and it’s supposed to run Android 2.2. The Folio 100 will have: A Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, multitouch display ,10.1 “widescreen WSVGA (1024x600pixel), 2 stereo speakers and a microphone.

There’s also 16GB of internal memory, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, an HDMI port, USB 2.0 standard, USB 2.0 mini audio jack, SD card reader, and 7 hours of battery life.

Another day, another entry into the tablet market. Today, Pioneer Computers Australia is introducing its DreamBook ePad L11 HD. It’s an 11.6-inch tablet device, with okay specs.

No Android here. This one is powered by Windows 7. The DreamBook ePad L11 HD will be available in Australia in September, with pricing starting at $640. No word on whether it will hit US shores anytime soon. Specs are below.
