Solar-powered delivery boxes that cook pizza

Posted in News by Conner Flynn on May 25th, 2011

Some students from Brooklyn’s James Madison and Edward R. Murrow high schools will be out in Manhattan’s Union Square tomorrow showing off their solar-powered pizza boxes. If you want a slice, be there. I’m hungry already.

These solar-powered pizza boxes are pretty impressive and can reach up to 200-degrees on a hot day and that is hot enough to cook pizza. We aren’t sure about all of the details. It just looks like tin-foil. Any excuse for some free pizza is fine with us though. Hopefully this will make the Pizza industry a bit greener.
