Toshiba unveils 3D Dynabook TX/98MBL notebook |
Toshiba has a bunch of different notebooks. The company is big in the electronics market and was the major firm behind the defunct HD DVD format. Toshiba has gone in the Blu-ray market now and has announced the industry’s first PC that supports Blu-ray 3D.
The new notebook is called the Dynabook TX/98MBL and has a 15.6-inch 120Hz LED backlit screen ready for 3D. The 3D effects use the NVIDIA 3D Vision system and support 3D games and future 3D Blu-ray titles.





I just mentioned that the WindPad 100 from MSI was shown off at Computex today. The 100 was unveiled at the MSI press conference, but its Tegra 2 and Android sibling was not so lucky.
Computex is one of the biggest trade shows in the industry and is underway right now in Taiwan. The show has lots of gadgets unveilings and one of the big categories this year is tablets.

Gateway has added a couple new all-in-one desktop computers to its line of AIO units. The two new machines fit into the Gateway One ZX series and include the ZX4300-01e and the ZX6900-01e. The former is an AMD machine while the latter is an Intel rig.
Intel has always been worried that the robust sales and popularity of the Atom line of CPUs would draw buyers away from its more profitable and powerful CPUs. This fear lead to the Atom processors getting a screen size limit of 10.2-inches.


I expect pretty much all my computer gear and gadgets to be able to perform multiple functions today. I don’t have the room on my desk for a printer, copier and a scanner. That is why I went with an AIO printer long ago.
Sanyo makes all sorts of electronics and gadgets from TVs to computers and other devices. Sanyo is big in the projector market for home theater, the classroom and office as well.
