iRU AIO All-In-One Desktop PC

Russian-based iRU has introduced their latest all-in-one desktop PC, the iRU AIO. This All-In-One is powered by either a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-370 or 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-460 processor and will save some space on your desktop.

It features a 21.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display, an integrated graphics card (Core i3-370), a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce G310 graphics card (Core i5-460), up to 4GB RAM, up to 1TB hard drive, a webcam, a DVD writer and it runs either Windows 7 or MeeGo OS.

Silver Motorola XOOM tablet shows up on video

We’ve been drooling over the Motorola XOOM tablet and waiting for it to be launched, but we didn’t think it would be available in more than one color. well, a video hands-on of the tablet has now surfaced and the XOOM in question has a silver two-tone finish on the back.

It kind of looks similar to the original iPhone. If Motorola releases it in this color scheme, at least you will have some choice. Do you like it? Hit the link below for the video.

Softbank and ZTE team up for Senior Citizen Smartphone

Calling this a smartphone is not entirely accurate, but it isn’t stupid either. Simplicity is the focus here. This tracking device is meant for senior citizens and young children, to keep them safe. That large button in the center is for emergencies. Just press it and it will send an email and a notification to your relatives informing them where you are.

If you want to be tracked, just pull the cord on top and a sound is emitted, aiding the responder in reaching you.

HP unveils Pavilion dv6, dv7 and g-series notebooks

HP has announced some new consumer notebooks that are based on HP’s MUSE (materials, usability, sensory appeal and experience) design philosophy. The new notebooks can be personalized with your choice of 17 exclusive wallpapers designed by six artists.

The Pavilion dv6 and dv7 notebooks use design elements from the company’s ENVY line and feature sleek metal finishing, HP’s exclusive Beats Audio, USB 3.0, on-board quad speakers and the dv7 also includes a subwoofer. Screen sizes are 15.6 and 17.3 inches and are powered by Intel’s second-generation Core i5 and i7 processors and optional AMD Radeon 6000 graphics. You also have the option of a Blu-ray disc player and up to 1TB of storage on the dv6 and 2TB of storage on the dv7.

HP intros TouchSmart 610 and 9300 all-in-one PCs

Hp’s TouchSmart 610 and 9300 Elite Business PCs feature displays that can recline up to 60 degrees, making sure that the surface is easier to use. The 23-inch displays feature a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the TouchSmart 610 also has a TouchSmart software layer, for finger-friendly Hulu, Netflix and Twitter apps.

The 610 has Intel and AMD desktop processor options, up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, Blu-ray drive, 1.3-megapixel camera and Beats Audio speakers. The 9300 has Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processors, a 160GB SSD option, 2-megapixel camera and facial recognition software. The 610 will cost $900 and be available on February 9th, while the 9300 will arrive in May for an unknown price.

Acer AZ5750-F54 All-In-One Desktop PC with Blu-ray

Acer has unveiled their newest all-in-one desktop PC in Japan. It sports a Blu-ray drive and goes by the model number AZ5750-F54. Like othe all-in-ones, this will save you some desktop space.

Other features include a 23-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display, a 3.2GHz Intel Core i5-650 dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a webcam, a card reader, TV tuner, WiFi and it runs Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

Buffalo MiniStation 3.0 Portable Hard Drive

Buffalo has announced a new line of MiniStation portable hard drives in Japan. The MiniStation 3.0 series is sleek, with a glossy black or white coating, and uses SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectivity.

They come in 500GB and 1TB storage capacities and are backed by a one-year warranty. They also come bundled with software for data backup, encryption and power saving. The 500GB and 1TB Buffalo MiniStation 3.0 retail for $141 and $206. Not bad at all.

Keepon robot is now affordable

We first saw the Keepon robot way back in 2007 when it cost a stunning $30,000, which meant that only rich folks could enjoy the little bot. Well, this little silly guy is now available for home use for just $40. That means we can all afford one.

It’s called the My Keepon now and is even more of a “toy”, dumbed down just a bit compared to its predecessor so that it can be affordable. Are you going to buy one? Or is this too silly for you?

NEC ValueStar VW970/DS All-In-One 3D Desktop PC

NEC has announced their latest new all-in-one 3D desktop PC, the ValueStar VW970/DS. This all-in-one is based on Intel’s new Sandy Bridge platform. The space-saving machine features a 23-inch 1920 x 1080 3D monitor and a 2.7GHz Intel Core i7-2620M processor.

Other features include a 1GB GeForce GT425M graphics card, 8GB of RAM, up to a 2TB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, a TV tuner, a card reader, WiFi, an HDMI port and two USB 3.0 ports. Pricing and availability info are still unknown at the moment, but hopefully we will learn more soon.

Nanocade turns your netbook into an arcade cabinet

Netbooks are cool, but they aren’t arcade cabinets. Not typically. But with the Nanocade you can have both. It’s a kit from designer Rasmus Sorensen that lets you turn a netbook or mini-ITX motherboard and 10.1-inch display into a laptop arcade cabinet.

If you have a spare netbook to make this happen, the kit ships in March and it is easy to do. As long as you have the $349 plus shipping that is. It’s totally worth it.

HyperDrive launches new Hard Drive for the iPad

Remember the HyperDrive? It’ an external hard drive that can be connected to your Apple iPad using Apple’s camera connection kit. Well, HyperDrive has now launched a new version, this time with a nicer price. It starts at $99.

You do have to add in your own hard drive. That’s why it doesn’t cost more. The HyperDrive hard drive for the Apple iPad can hold up to 1TB of storage and the built in internal battery is only good for about 40GBs of transfer/read from the HyperDrive after that you’ll need to recharge it or connect it to a 5v power supply.

Cirago launches CMC3200 media player, NUS2000 USB network storage link

Cirago recently released their CMC3200 media player and their NUS2000 USB network storage link. The new CMC3200 media player is being called the only 1080p system and it will deliver up to 2TB of storage space, with a Wi-Fi adapter and a year’s worth of PlayOn. The price is $299.99.

The NUS2000 Link+ adapter will deliver remote access capabilities to up to four USB-connected storage devices and will cost $100. Do either of these sound good to you? Then bring them home.

Smartview S9 Surveillance System
