Sony Ericsson W700
Stun guns that look like phones are nothing new, but they usually look pretty crappy. That’s not the case with this Sony Ericsson W700. It looks normal, but has a stun button that delivers a 900,000-volt electric shock via two small metal prongs.

British Police recently confiscated this W700 phone and it’s the first time we are hearing about a Sony Ericsson W700 stun gun. The price seems to be between $50 and $100. Interestingly, UK police use 50,000V stun guns. The police were shocked to find it.
The 21-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary of a business and possessing an offensive weapon.

Posted in Sick Brick by Nino Marchetti on January 24th, 2008

thunderpack.jpg$100,000 can buy you a fair amount of video games in which you can pretend to fly around in. You could also sink that money into a prototype of Thunderbolt Aerosystems’ new jet-powered ThunderPack.

Don’t expect too much air time with this device – Thunderbolt says the ThunderPack has been tested to offer 75 seconds of flight time. On the positive, that is reportedly a 300 percent increase over what other systems offer. We, of course, did not realize the rocket pack market was suddenly something you could shop for at Sharper Image.

BlackBerry Pearl goes pink at Verizon

Pink BlackBerry Pearl from Verizon WirelessThe BlackBerry Pearl has been coming out in a number of new colors lately and we had heard earlier this month that the latest will be this new pink model with Verizon. We knew it was coming soon and today Verizon Wireless along with Research In Motion (RIM) announced that the Pearl in Pink is coming to Verizon stores and online starting tomorrow (Friday).

Gone are the days of smartphones lacking style and color according to Verizon as they describe the pink BlackBerry Pearl 8130 as “chic and sophisticated”, and it still packs all the same communication features of it’s bland siblings and Verizon’s tools via the EV-DO network. The pink version, just like the others can browse the web with the Verizon wireless broadband connection, has a speakerphone, 2 megapixel camera, media player, external microSD memory card slot, wireless Bluetooth and that not-quite-QWERTY keyboard.
