Samsung Omnia II launching December 2 for $200Looks like we can finally say that Verizon’s version of the Samsung Omnia II is almost here. It will be launching on all fronts, telesales, online, and in-store, on December 2 for $199.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate.

It sports a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 8GB of internal storage plus microSD expansion, 5 megapixel cam, and WinMo 6.5 Professional. If you can resist the allure of Motorola’s Droid, this is a good one. The TouchWiz 2.0 UI looks nice.

And you no longer have to thanks to manufacturer Rihanna, who is working on this $100 kitchen scale due out next year. It sports an iPod dock and a 2W speaker under the glass platform. Your iPod displays the song while a black and white LCD displays the weight info.

It’s a sleeping bag that looks just like a Tauntaun, with a saddle, printed intestines, and even a plush lightsaber zipper pull. Yes, but does it smell worse on the inside? Kinda depends on how often you use it I guess.

Dell Mini 10 with 3G official for SprintIt’s official. Sprint will be offering a subsidized version of the popular Dell Mini 10. The netbook will feature an internal EVDO Revision A modem for 3G access wherever you are, so you aren’t just relying on the availability of Wi-Fi networks.

Aside from that, everything else under the hood remains the same. That includes an Intel Atom 1.33GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows XP Home. Sprint is offering the Dell Mini 10 for $200, with a 2-year agreement with a $60 monthly data plan…after a $100 mail-in rebate.

The DROID itself is the first of many Android phones coming to the carrier. There’s Android 2.0 of course, Visual Voicemail, a 3.7-inch display (854 x 480 resolution), 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, a bundled 16GB memory card and a beta version of Google Maps Navigation.

The DROID is the first phone to offer that last, which which will turn Google Maps into a turn-by-turn routing system. Some other features include a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G, WiFi, voice-activated search and over-the-air Amazon MP3 downloads.

Mac Minis get faster processors, more memory, dual-HDD serverApple’s Mac mini server gets rid of an optical drive and gains room for two hard disks. It uses Snow Leopard Server, and has the same 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processor as the updated 320GB Mac mini.

For $1000 it includes two 500GB hard disks, 4GB of RAM, and GeForce 9400M graphics. The 320GB Mac mini will stay at $800, but has the already mentioned new processor, and ups 2GB of memory to 4GB. The $600 entry-level Mac mini has a faster 2.26GHz processor (was 2GHz), 2GB RAM (was 1GB), and has 160GB of storage (was 120GB).
