Apple Unveils MacBooks With Core 2 Duo Processor

Macbook with Intel Core 2 DuoApple has just announced the release of it’s new line of Macbooks with the Intel Core 2 Duo Processors, giving the new versions up to 25% faster processing speeds than previous versions. To keep up with the faster processing, the new notebooks will also feature double the memory offering up to 2 GB and more storage than previous models making hard drives of up to 200 GB available for the heavy hauler.

The 64-bit processor architecture of the Intel Core 2 Duo allows it to handle data and process more decisions double time (64 bits versus 32 bits), giving the Macbook more processing power. Apple states that this additional processing speed equates to 6 times the performance over the iBook and 12-inch PowerBook. The video is recorded onto a 4GB SDHC memory card that can hold between 40 and 90 minutes of video depending on the Mbps that the video is recorded at, and it has a battery that allows continuous recording for up to 65 minutes.

Using the 3CCD sensor the HDC-SD1 camcorder can record in full HD 1080i (1920 x 1080) and provide digital and optical zoom at 12X and 30X, respectively. Link is adept with a sword and shield, but also makes good use of his bow and arrows.

Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000A webcam designed specifically for notebook computers was the intent with Microsoft’s LifeCam NX-6000.

The design of the NX-6000 webcam let’s it fit nicely on top of the notebook lid, needing no special attachments or stands so it is easy to bring along and easy to attach. A microphone is also built in so that a separate device or connection is not needed.

The LifeCam has a high definition 7.6 megapixel camera for still photos, and can record high def video at 2.0 megapixels for a 1600×1190 pixel picture. Samsung K5 MP3 PlayerThere are a lot of MP3 players on the market today, and Samsung has done a good job in differentiating the K5 player from the rest by offering features that are not commonly found on your average portable music gadget.

To get some of the specifications out of the way, this device comes in either a 1GB or 4GB capacity and has a battery that allows up to 30 hours of playback time, and 6 hours with the speakers.
