Sony Ericsson Bluetooth VoIP HBV-100 Headset Kit

Sony Ericsson HBV-100Bluetooth headsets are no longer just for cell phones. Sony Ericsson has announced the release of the Bluetooth VoIP HBV-100 Headset kit. The Bluetooth VoIP kit allows you to make handsfree VoIP calls with your PC.

The kit consists of a Bluetooth headset, a Bluetooth USB Adaptor, and a standard charger. The USB Adaptor plugs into your PC (running Windows XP) and requires no complicated installation or configuration to work with most internet telephony software. Once installed, the adapter connects with the HBH-PV705 headset to allow you to communicate wirelessly.

The headset requires the Windows XP operating system. Headset talk time with Bluetooth phone is up to 12 hrs with standby time up to 300 hrs.

Nintendo DS Motion Sensing Card

Nintendo DS LiteThere will soon be a new gadget available for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite to sense motion by the user.

The card can plug into the DS slot and contains a three-axis accelerometer and a single-axis gyroscope to sense motions such as tilting, twisting and gestures by the person holding it. The new card opens up a lot of opportunity for different games which could be along the same lines as the new motions sensitive controller for the Nintendo Wii. Some example applications show using the Nintendo DS as an etch-a-sketch type toy by tilting it to draw, or rolling points around like water droplets to make different designs.

Hot spot locations can be found in airports, hotels, cafes and other public places, including metropolitan hot zones.

Nintendo Wii Japan Release The Nintendo Wii game console has finally hit the UK early Friday morning, and like the previous releases in the US and in Japan, it was met by crowds of enthusiastic fans.

Die hard Nintendo fans waited outside of the Oxford Street branch of HMV in London for as long as two days, weathering rain storms and even a tornado. HMV is one of the few stores offering the new game console that did not have all of them already pre-ordered.

The launch of the Nintendo Wii is done in direct competition with the Sony’s PS3, although the target consumer may be slightly different. The Wii is a lower priced system and is not as powerful as the PS3, but it has some features that appeal to a wider range of gamers.

The PlayStation titles are offered for $5.99 and can be downloaded via the PlayStation Network and played on the PSP. 10 Minute EmailI (as do many others) have multiple email accounts, and one in particular that I use for junk email when I have to register for products or anything that I am afraid I will get spam for. With this tool, you can create a temporary email account that will expire after 10 minutes. The site says that you can retrieve the email, read it and even reply to them. You can also extend your time as needed while your waiting for the email to arrive. Dodgeit.com provides a similar service that gives you a temporary email for a week instead of 10 minutes, and does not allow you to reply.

Reports in that James Kim Found

James KimReports have just come in from a live broadcast through CNET that they may have found James Kim. They say that searchers have found a person they believe to be James Kim laying face down in the Windy Creek drainage in Oregon. His condition and positive ID are still pending.

UPDATE: The Flash Alert site for the Oregon State Police is reporting that “James Kim was found deceased at approximately 12 noon”. The family is requesting NOT to be contacted.

Arrangements are being made to transport Kim to an undisclosed location, according to the authorities. Kim had been missing in the remote southwestern Oregon wilderness for 11 days.

This is very sad and difficult to report, and our heartfelt sympathies are with James’ family, friends, and coworkers.
