SLRA

A Single Lens Reflex camera uses one lens for both focusing and taking the picture. The operator is able to view the target through the main aperture as the image is reflected on a mirror and passes through a prism that restores the normal view. The main advantage of an SLR over other camera types is that the image in the viewfinder is the same as that in actually captured on the film.
