Posted in Spy Gear by Conner Flynn on May 27th, 2009

SIM Card Spy Ear Power StripThe SIM Card Spy Ear Power Strip is a fully working 8–way power strip. But it’s so much more. It also contains a rechargeable battery and a tri-band mobile phone transmitter. Just put in your choice of SIM card, plug the unit into a wall socket, someplace where your enemy is residing, then dial the SIM number on your mobile phone and you’re in. Instant eavesdropping.

It won’t work with 3G networks. $66.00 is a bargain in the spy world. As usual, you just have to pray that your enemy does not read tech blogs or else he might be onto you.

Be your own PI with the CSI Stick
These days it’s easy to be your own detective. No need to hire a Magnum PI or some other guy who had a show in the 80′s, just to tell you if your wife is having an affair or not. Paraben’s Cell Seizure Investigator (CSI) stick will tell you. It does have the potential to wreck lives, so it comes with a warning “buy it with discretion.” With this gadget, you can get all the dirt you need for a personal forensic analysis.

That includes sent and received SMS’s, contacts, and call list. The device is only compatible with a few mobile phones at the moment, from Samsung and Motorola. Using adaptors, the manufacturer hopes to expand that compatibility. The forensic analysis of the data can be carried out with PC-based forensic software provided.

The TeleSpy phone stays connected for 30 seconds and then hangs up and re-arms itself waiting for the next movement.

spy micro agent listener If you have a reason to follow someone around and eavesdrop in on their conversations — or heck, even if you don’t — what better way to say “privacy shrivacy” than with the Micro Agent Listener. This compact gadget has an 12-inch extendable microphone on one end so you can stand around one side of the corner while hearing all of the dirt that’s being said on the other side. Of course it comes with an earclip but you will still look like a dork if you wear it like that plus you will blow your cover at the same time.

The listener also has an automatic volume limiter that will stop the relay of louder noises, handy when you’re on surveillance on a construction site, by a busy freeway or when your about-to-be-ex-girlfriend catches you following her. It’s powered by one button …

Lazer Trip Wire to protect your areaWith these Lazer Trip Wires you can set up an invisible perimeter to alert your of any unwanted invasions of your “space”. The kit comes with three devices, one main and two secondary units that each send and detect a beam. You can set up two that point at each other or all three or more to create a perimeter. Each has an adjustment to compensate for the ambient light and once armed a voice indicates “System Armed”. When any of the infrared beams are broken an audible alarm is triggered alerting you of the security breach.

The Lazer Trip Wire kit also comes with a misting bottle that you can use …

The descriptions on the site lean towards those a little on the sneaky side wanting to video and record with a hidden system and the Black-Box DVR looks like it would be perfect.

Measuring only a total of 2.28 square inches it records at 30 fps and a 640×480 resolution onto an SD card which it supports up to 4GB. It also has a power AV-in port which connects and powers an included CCD quality miniature camera. You aren’t going to be able to take any high quality video recordings with the Black-Box DVR but it’s definitely small enough to hide just about anywhere on your person. Mini Gadgets has this retailing for well under $3k running $499.95.

Xaver 800 device See’s Through Walls

Posted in Spy Gear by Chetz on January 11th, 2007

Xaver-800 Sees Through WallsThe folks at Camero have developed a device that can “see” through walls for military and law enforcement agencies during urban operations.

The Xaver 800 uses a novel and patented approach by employing ultra-wideband (UWB) RF signals to create 3D images of people and other objects that are otherwise hidden behind solid barriers such as a wall. The device can render the objects in 3D, and is able to see through wall-type barriers made of cement, plaster, brick, and wood.

The 3D images are returned in real-time and allow the objects being viewed to be watched from multiple angles, which could help in many situations to provide life-saving information. Camero states that the Xaver 800 is safe despite the signals it emits to view items through walls, and that the total energy that is actually transmitted is only a fraction of what is emitted …
