Samsung Micro Projector MBP200 now available |
The Samsung MBP200 comes with a Projection Panel with a HVGA resolution of 480×320, and a 2.2” 320×240 QVGA LCD. It also supports a standard 3.5 mm stereo earphone jack, with support for MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, WAV playback. You’ll get support for DivX, Xvid, WMV9 Simple Profile, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 formats and it has a microSD slot to support cards up to a 16GB capacity.
The Samsung MBP200 was announced a while back, at the last CES, but it finally has a price and a release date. Which are May and around $637. Sadly, it’s only bound for select European markets for the moment.


ViewSonic has officially introduced its new short-throw DLP projector, the PJD5351. It weighs in at just 5.5 pounds and comes packed with 2500 ANSI lumens, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 1024×768 XGA resolution.
Surprisingly, it isn’t a huge name taking the Pico projector to 720p. Forever Plus gets the credit for the world’s smallest 720p projector. It measures just 0.49 x 0.59 x 0.19-inches and projects footage from HDMI at 1,280 x 768 resolution for 30,000 hours via LED lighting.
On Wednesday Dell quietly updated its projectors and added the 4210X. This brand spanking new 4210X DLP projector from Dell comes with an HDMI input so you can enjoy high definition movies. The 4210X also supports dual VGA connectors allowing you to connect two computers simultaneously.
Mitsubishi has two new projectors available for the mass market. The WD3300U and XD3200U are perfect for schools, churches, offices, presentation rooms etc. The WD3300U features 4,000 ANSI lumens, a 2,300:1 contrast ratio, and a wide screen WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Kids have it good today. I don’t think we had any cool projectors when I was a kid. This one is from toymaker Jakks Pacific and looks pretty neat. It’s expected to be at next week’s Toy Fair in New York.
The Sanko branded Miseal mini projector has a unique cube shape that fits in the palm of your hand, as opposed to typical handheld 
Lancerlink of Japan has introduced its MPJ-101 mini projector that also doubles as a decent portable media player. It doesn’t come cheap though at $1,000. Some features include: 640 × 480 resolution, 10 lumens brightness, 1GB internal flash memory, SD/SDHC/MMC/MS Pro memory card slot, USB connectivity and Two 0.5W speakers.
