DPMP-003 3-inch PMP packs NES action
As far as I’m concerned you don’t have to work real hard to give me a good PMP as long as it has some NES emulation action and some decent slide-out controls. Put in a 3-inch LCD, TV-out and a 1.3 megapixel camera and I’m there.

In fact, Shenzhen Derisson’s portable gaming PMP is the first device of its kind to boast a built-in camera, as far as I know. The camera is not a webcam but a real photo shooter. Plus, you have the option to make it a 2 megapixel or 3 megapixel. The device will even record scheduled TV programs according to the specs. It supports NES games and ASF format MEPG-4 videos.

Coby MP-835Wannabe CE company Coby doesn’t get too much love from us because they rarely put out interesting products. One which is mainly catching our eye though at the moment is the apparently newly released MP-835, a portable media player which is trying to gun for the Apple iPod touch.

The Coby MP-835 offers up a three-inch TFT LCD color display for you to control its functions with. Polaroid DPJ takes your iPod movies to the next levelPolaroid’s DPJ-08580B is only one of a hundred gadgets that go with your iPod, but it manages to stand out admirably. The device is basically a portable DVD player with an embedded iPod dock, which will allow you to view videos stored on your iPod in a larger format. Not huge mind you, but larger. The screen is 8.5 inches.

It retails for just 28,000 yen, which is about $252, but if you absolutely have to buy an accessory for your iPod, you will probably get more enjoyment out of this one then most of the other gadgets out there.
