Arbor’s M1256 medical tablet PC is not your ordinary PC. It’s made for hospitals and features cellular connectivity in addition to GPS navigation. Some features include: 12.1″ touchscreen display, Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 60GB/80GB hard drive, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, 2-megapixel camera, and RFID reader.
The Arbor M1256 comes with its own docking station, and is powered by Windows XP , Windows Vista or Linux operating systems. You may see one soon at a hospital near you.


Here’s a cool PC case mod from Russian moder, Megalex, known as the Yellow Bulldozer PC. He must be a fan of construction vehicles. Megalex built the custom case around an Asus P3B-F motherboard, an Intel PIII 700MHz processor, 512MB of Ram, and a 500GB Seagate hard drive.
Lenovo and Acer are putting both feet into the all-in-one PC market, not just dipping their toes in. Lenovo wants to release its 20″ C100 entry level unit next month followed by the C100 and Quad Core B500 in August as well as the slim A300 a few months after that.
If you’re looking for a new media PC, the latest from AOpen is worth a look. Announced on Friday, the new AOpen PC is the XC Encore OE700 and this system all about everything media. It will keep things quiet with the Smart Anti-Vibration System and features a vacuum fluorescent display and support for 7.1 audio.
Check out this wrist-worn PC, if you’re looking for something slightly Sci-Fi and nerdy. It’s the ultimate ultraportable. From Glacier Computer, the Ridgeline W200 is a wearable version of the company’s Ridgeline, which can usually be found in your vehicle. The case is rugged, light weight magnesium alloy and it weighs in at 10.2 ounces with a 3.5-inch color display, touch screen, backlit keypad, and a swappable battery pack.

I make fun, but both creatures are smart, because bamboo grows super fast so chopping it down to be used in electronic devices, or to eat, is a good idea. Micro Innovations is the latest company to feature accessories made with a bamboo shell.

Here’s an odd sight. A PC with a built-in 7-inch touchscreen that looks more like a microwave or other appliance. We are used to bulky PC’s that have to be tucked under desks well away from your external monitor as if they are mortal enemies in some secret war. But now it’s as if the two are enjoying a nice soft cuddle, with the Shuttle D10.
The human race has a ton of junk. The discarded excrement of all of our endeavors. It goes in landfills, sits around our homes and in general clutters up our lives. What do you do with all of that junk? Play with it of course. In this case UK artist Sandy Smith used hundreds of old PC’s to create a wall-sized gradient effect that mimics a “sunset” emanating from their monitors. Pretty neat stuff.
