Ghostwire augmented reality game coming to your DSi in 2010 |
Back in May we told you about the augmented reality game for the DSi, Ghostwire: Link to the Paranormal. The Ghostwire title had been previously unveiled, but Majesco has just signed on to publish it.
The game uses the DSi’s camera and microphone to allow you to hunt ghosts like those schmucks on TV. Once the ghost or ghosts are detected, it’s the player job to hunt down objects to make them rest in peace.




It’s only been a year since the original DSi launched, and here we are talking about a new one. According to Nikkei there’s a new DSi coming very soon with a 4-inch screen, that would have the same price as the current one.
Word on the street is that the Nintendo DSi may be getting a voice chat channel very soon. Nintendo has denied the rumor, but what would you expect? This is the company that offered up Wii Speak for the Wii.
Nintendo just announced that they will be releasing three new colors for the Nintendo DSi, which are scheduled to arrive in Europe on October 23rd. The colors are metallic blue, light blue and red versions of the DSi to compliment the already available black and white models.
These “WaSaBi” cases from Gametech will dress up your handheld system and add some protection as well. They’ll cost you $27 and they are available now. You have six versions to choose from for your DSi, DS, or PSP.

Fans of Ace Attorney will be happy to know that Capcom is releasing a new game based on the famous series at the end of this month. Capcom is all set to release a limited edition DSi branded with Taihokun, the Police Mascot designed by Gumshoe (a Character in the game) and a special package including the new opus of the Ace Attorney series.
The Nintendo DSi just launched and already we can show you some hardware to buy for the new handheld. The folks over at Joystiq sat down with David Young, the assistant PR manager for Nintendo of America. Mr. Young said that DSi interaction with the Wii was “certainly a possibility,” but he didn’t say anything else on the matter.
According to Masato Kuwahara, project leader of the Nintendo DSi Hardware group, the big N is planning “Nintendo DSi enhanced game cards,” that offer DSi hardware-specific game features. The games would still be playable on both the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DSi, but would have special features that can only be accessed on the DSi.
