Looks like it has a nice large trackpad and comfortably sized keyboard. Of course the swiveling screen is cool. But that color. It’s hard to get past the brightness. Also, check out the D-pad controls on the screen. When it arrives it will run you around $250. Ouch, that is red.

Toshiba Mini NB200 Netbook with 9-Cell batteryBattery life in netbooks is the new thin. Everyone is competing to give you more juice. Toshiba is no different. Hence the 9-Cell battery version of the NB200 that claims to last for 9 hours, which is fine by us. That isn’t all it has going for it though.

The Toshiba NB200 has some other interesting features, like a 10.1″ TruBrite display, a 3D accelerometer, one always-on USB port for charging and a large touch pad. It only weighs 2.42 Lbs too, so you won’t be lifting weights.

Velocity Micro’s Atom N270 NoteMagix M10: This month for $380

Velocity Micro's Atom N270 NoteMagix M10: This month for $380It’s been in hiding since its CES debut, but Velocity Micro’s 10.2-inch NoteMagix M10 is on sale with an April 30 estimated ship date. The base price is $380, and comes in red, blue, and black.

The only customization option besides the color is a DVD writer for $70. You’ll get the usual spec list that you would expect with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and a 6-cell battery. There’s probably not enough here to compete with other brands in the over-saturated netbook market. And it looks a little chunky. But we wish them well.
