iiyamaIiyama has introduced another eco-friendly LCD monitor, the ProLite E1906S-B. This 19-inch LCD monitor is all about the energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by nearly 35.9% compared to regular panels.

The monitor supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a 5ms response time, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, two 1W speakers and D-Sub as well as DVI connections. The ProLite E1906S-B is green, so will require $208 worth of green from you.

AOC ships budget green 24-inch LCDAOC has dropped another affordable and eco-friendly LCD monitor that meets EPEAT Gold standards. The AOC 2436Vw 24-inch LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and 300 cd/m2 brightness. The 1080p screen consumes less than 49W of power.

It also comes with several simple connectivity ports, which include VGA, DVI and USB. Who says it isn’t easy being green? The AOC 2436Vw is priced at $220 and is already shipping.

TriGem announces four new 16:9 LCD monitorsTriGem Computer is offering a quartet of new LCD monitors for the South Korean market. The TGL 2000A (20-inch), TGL 2250A (21.6-inch), TGL 2300A (23-inch) and TGL 2400A (23.6-inch). These LCD monitors feature a built-in digital TV tuner, 16:9 aspect ratio, 2ms response time, 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, integrated speakers, and DVI and HDMI connectors.

The 2250A, 2300A and 2400A all have a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while the 2000A offers a resolution of 720p. The 23.6-inch TGL 2400A should hit stores for the price of $362.

Mimo 710-S portable monitorIf you’re in the market for a spare monitor, this is a nice looking one. The Mimo 710-S is the “Mobile Slider” edition of their existing line. It’s a 7-inch, 800×480 USB monitor that opens like a laptop and features 90 degree rotation so you can view it however you like.

Oddly this one costs just $20 more than the existing Mimo 710. So if portability is not an issue, you may as well go for the older model. The 710-S will be released this month for $150. It’s a pretty useful design. Just pop it in your laptop bag when traveling.

It’s a widescreen monitor that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and features a 6ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness.

The EcoView function automatically adjusts brightness depending on the room’s lighting and covers 96% of the Adobe RGB color range. When it comes to ports, you get a D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort.

Some other features include 2w speakers, a pair of USB ports, one D-Sub, one DVI and two HDMI connectors.

CinemaView Displays with Mini DisplayPort ConnectorsLooks like the next generation of CinemaView displays will be equipped with Mini DisplayPort connectors along with a TV add-on. The new models will be larger than their predecessors and will start with the 24-inch model. The new screen now features four USB ports, 2ms of response time and 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The price is still $499 each, but its launch has been moved back two months to October 2009.

There’s also the CinemaView 47, which is a hybrid TV/PC display that comes with similar resolutions to those of a dedicated computer display, though it relies on Mini DisplayPort for input. The screen has four USB 2.0 ports, 4ms response time and 4,000:1 contrast ratio.

EVGA InterView 1700 Dual-Monitor SystemThe InterView 1700 is the latest dual-monitor system from EVGA, targeted specially at business types for presentations, researchers, physicians, financial consultants or other creative professionals. The whole thing consists of two 17-inch LCD monitors that can be rotated 180 degrees vertically and folded 90 degrees horizontally.

Both monitors support a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and feature an 8ms response time and 500:1 contrast ratio. The system also integrates a built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam, three USB ports and DVI connectivity.

Eizo FlexScan EV2333W-H LCD monitor announcedEizo has announced a new LCD monitor today. The FlexScan EV2333W-H. The monitor measures in at 23-inches and features a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Also, this 1080p display supplies an eco-friendly and practical monitor solution. It has both a HDCP-protected DVI port and DisplayPort. Other inputs include VGA.

With 300cd/m2 brightness and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, it’s equipped to offer a decent quality picture for everyday use. Some other specs include a 7ms pixel response time, FlexStand with vertical adjustment and swivel capability and EcoView Sense, which is an infrared sensor that detects the brightness in the room and whether or not you’re sitting in front of the computer, adjusting the screen’s on-status and brightness accordingly.
