Iiyama has introduced another eco-friendly LCD monitor, the ProLite E1906S-B. This 19-inch LCD monitor is all about the energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by nearly 35.9% compared to regular panels.
The monitor supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a 5ms response time, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, two 1W speakers and D-Sub as well as DVI connections. The ProLite E1906S-B is green, so will require $208 worth of green from you.




AOC has dropped another affordable and eco-friendly LCD monitor that meets EPEAT Gold standards. The AOC 2436Vw 24-inch LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and 300 cd/m2 brightness. The 1080p screen consumes less than 49W of power.
TriGem Computer is offering a quartet of new LCD monitors for the South Korean market. The TGL 2000A (20-inch), TGL 2250A (21.6-inch), TGL 2300A (23-inch) and TGL 2400A (23.6-inch). These LCD monitors feature a built-in digital TV tuner, 16:9 aspect ratio, 2ms response time, 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, integrated speakers, and DVI and HDMI connectors.

EIZO is all set for a European launch with its latest LCD monitor, the Foris FX2431 next month. The Foris FX2431 is available in your choice of black or silver.
Looks like the next generation of CinemaView displays will be equipped with Mini DisplayPort connectors along with a TV add-on. The new models will be larger than their predecessors and will start with the 24-inch model. The new screen now features four USB ports, 2ms of response time and 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The price is still $499 each, but its launch has been moved back two months to October 2009.
