E-ZCHARGE DockIf you are married or have a live in partner that isn’t into technology and gadgets and loathes cords, you probably know what a source of irritation cords can be. You know what happens, you go to plug your phone in, and the charger is gone, stuffed away in some drawer because it looked bad. You spend time hunting for it getting more irritated by the second.

The E-ZCHARGE Dock may be able to help you avoid cable clutter and hidden chargers. The device connects directly to any cell phone charger according to the maker and doesn’t block the outlets around it. Once attached the excess cable can be wrapped around the non-slip surface of the dock and provides a place to store the phone.

The catch is that every time I watch a video my kids want to watch too and I end up having to hold the phone far enough away that everyone can watch. Putting the iPhone flat on a table doesn’t work well.

Seskimo has launched a new stand for the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPod touch, and other phones that holds the device upright in a landscape orientation. The stand is called the BatRest and is made from plastic and folds to the size of a credit card. Three different colors are available including translucent, white, and black.

Thanks to motion-powered electronics, which is in development by M2E Power, you may be able to charge your phone just by walking or having it on you. M2E is claiming that their system will generate 300 to 700 percent more power than currently available kinetic energy technologies. According to Scanbuy — the maker of the ScanLife application — ScanLife can launch any URL address.
