The makers of this lamp/iPod dock obviously believe in simplicity as well as educating people Sesame Street style on the letter C. It is a space saver. We’ve seen our share of iPod docks and USB lamps, but not together in the same device, that I’m aware of.

The Conof USB lamp has a bright light and can swivel 270 degrees, making it extra useful. Not many details, but it appears to have dual USB ports, so you can dock your iPod and another item of your choice. The lamp is powered via the USB port on your computer. Once you tire of this device, maybe they’ll throw some “D” letter action your way with another like it.

How great was the advent of wireless? Wires suck. Wires trip people, electrocute,strangle unsuspecting users and just generally get in the way. Headphones wires are no exception. The Onkyo MHP-UW2 Bluetooth headphones come with an emitter that attaches to your iPod and broadcasts music for up to 8 hours on a full battery.

Recharging takes 3 hours via conventional AC adaptor or USB. The headphones look pretty cool, but the problem here is the emitter. It’s huge and fugly and kind of offensive, like a ball and chain. Not really wireless. You didn’t buy a small iPod just to make it huge later, now did ya?. In fact, it kinda looks like a pogo stick for your iPod. The price is $200.

Got wood? Yamaha does. Yamaha Japan announced the TSX-120 and TSX-130 iPod docks, both with a soft wood finish. The TSX-130 seen above comes with USB connectors and a CD-drive which supports playback and recording. Shared features on these units include an amplifier output of 15W × 2ch, 2 x eight cms speakers, frequency response of 60Hz ~ 20kHz, FM tuner and remote control.

Sure, nothing new here, but look, wood! They may match your style and even if they don’t, they’re bound to match that Atari you have lying around.These should hit Japanese stores in early December if you want one for X-mas. The TSX-120 will sell for about$ 300, while the TSX-130 will be about $ 400.

Look, your desk is looking really messy. I get it. Too much stuff. Some of the stuff you put inside other stuff, which connects to still more stuff, which you have to disconnect to recharge other stuff. It’s enough to drive you crazy. Wires, docks and slots are everywhere, sometimes you can;t find your computer. Well here’s a great solution.

The Griffin Simplifi combines the functionality of three devices in one package. It also has an adapter for charging your iPod without the computer or for an external HDD. You also get two USB hubs and it supports Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SD, xD and CF cards. The Griffin Simplifi will cost about $70 and will let you clean up some of that clutter.

Griffin Technology announced yesterday it had updated its popular iPod-friendly iTrip Auto for in car music playing. The new iTrip Auto will run you around $60.

Griffin says it updated the design of the new iTrip Auto FM transmitter and iPod charger. It also incorporates the company’s SmartScan function, which “seeks out the best FM frequencies available for iPod use, then selects the best of the best for use in transmitting your iPod’s music to your car’s FM stereo.”

Design house David Weiner Ventures has unveiled a wireless music broadcasting device which is iPod friendly. It is called the Art.Suono Wireless Music Transmission System and iPod Dock and it will be available for around $1,500.

The Art.Suono Wireless Music Transmission System and iPod Dock is said to combine good looks with wireless audio technology. This technology, which is proprietary, is designed to let you transmit any audio source to any audio system. It is said as well to help enhance sound quality as you listen.

At first glance you might think that Memorex has updated those old portable 8-Track players, you know the one’s with the handles from back in the day… Okay, they kinda have. The 8-Track cassette tape is now an iPod, but otherwise it’s pretty much the same deal. The Memorex miniMOVE Boombox for iPod resembles a purse and is obviously aimed at the ladies as a fashion accessory.

The portable boombox can go anywhere thanks to it’s innovative and retro handle technology. It’s powered by AA batteries or AC/DC. It’s even got a built in FM radio, backlit LCD display, and wireless remote. Comes in Pink, Black, Teal, or Silver and retails for $49.99. This is just the sort of odd and stupid thing that some Sex and the City character would have with her on-screen, thereby making it a hit and making every other Lemming follow suit. Am I wrong? Kensington has itself today some new accessories for notebook, iPhone and iPod users. A small range of devices prices between around $30 and $60 and should all be available at retail by the end of this month.

The products included in today’s release are a four-port USB charger for mobile devices, a media sharing cable and several car mounts for iPhones and iPods. You can get full details from Kensington after the jump.

Sony has created a somewhat original looking and refreshing third-generation iPod/iPhone clock radio dock, the ICF-CD3iP, according to an apparent leak by a Sony Insider. The dock has a unique circular design that holds a clock, AM/FM radio and a CD player, with simple controls in front for playback.

A side dock holds the Apple device. It can play MP3′s, CDs and CD-R/RW audio discs. The iPhone or iPod are integrated with the alarm clock and it comes with a remote so you don’t have to get out of bed to turn it off. Looks like it has nice big numbers as well, for those that need them. The ICF-CD3iP will reportedly be available in October. Price is estimated at $100.

Here’s an updated version of that iPhone Bike Mount we showed you in April that has probably sent some people to the hospital by now. The iBikeConsole device is mounted on your bike in pretty much the same way and will let you control your 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation iPod Nano without moving your hands away from the grips, which is a bonus because that feature will surely keep you alive longer.

You can also check your speed, trip distance, and more if you’re a numbers geek. Has a nice looking weather housing too. It’s about time they came up with something that makes it all the more desirable to knock you off your bike and steal it, because that old bell on your handlebars just wasn’t hip enough. The iBikeConsole is available for $76. Getting your bike and your iPod stolen at the same time…Priceless.

Making its appearance at IFA 2008 in Berlin, the Made for iPod refrigerator is the first of it’s kind. Gorenje might have a winner on it’s hands with this here fancy fridge. Sure, we’ve seen refrigerators with a bunch of multimedia features that allow you to listen to music, watch TV, even surf net, but this is Apple certified. It features a built-in iPod docking station and speakers, so as you might expect, you can play music and video and connect to the internet via a Wi-Fi network.

Apparently by integrating the iPod with iGorenj app, you can control all kinds of Gorenje appliances like washing machines and the oven for instance. The app is not built for iPhone/iPod touch, it’s served from a home server that controls your appliances directly. That way you can use the iPod touch, but also any other web device in your home that uses a Wi-Fi network. Looks like we may have an iKitchen sooner then some of us thought.

Whether you’re into the classics or just want it to look like you are, the Ode to Beethoven MP3 Player Speakers will bring a little Beethoven into your life. It is designed by UK artist Fiona Thomson, with the idea of combining classic artistic aesthetics with modern technology. Boston Acoustics is geared up for a crack at iPod accessories with a new all-in-one speaker system. It is called the Boston Acoustics Horizon i-DS2 and you’ll find this guy pricing around $180.

The Boston Acoustics Horizon i-DS2 is a one-piece design sporting dual 3-1/2″ speakers and 60 watts of power, according to its maker. It measures 5-1/2- x 12-3/4- x 5-13/16-inches and has, among its design touches,  a gloss cabinet and perforated metal grille. This grille can come in a variety of colors.

Do digital pigs dream of electric bacon when they have an iPod attached? I have no idea. It could be argued that alot of the drivel that fills up iPods is total garbage and if that’s the case, why not serve it up to a pig?

Speakal is offering the iPod docking iPig, a speaker system with five drivers, one of which is a 4-inch subwoofer, adjustable bass controls, 360-degree sound distribution and a desire to shout oink. It also has a 3.5-millimeter auxiliary jack and comes with a bundled remote. They even act like pigs in price at $139.99 and want to snort and suck up your money, then roll around in it.
