Rampant View makes your 5th gen iPod nano a head cam

Posted in iPod Accessories by Conner Flynn on September 26th, 2010

The current iPod nano may be better suited as a watch, but Rampant Gear isn’t done with the 5th generation iPod nano just yet. The company has just introduced its new Rampant View harness/headband which will turn your nano into a head cam.

Obviously it isn’t the best head-mounted camera option, but it is cheap at $35. You probably already have the 5th gen nano, so you might as well pony up the dough and capture some cool video.

Posted in iPod Accessories by Conner Flynn on June 10th, 2010

Philips has officially launched their new line of Fidelio iPhone/iPod Docks. The Fidelio launch is just one piece of Philips massive global marketing campaign that brings together three award winning people from producers to composers. The campaign is called “Obsessed with Sound” and the three people involved are Steven Lillywhite, Geoff Foster, and Benjamin Herman. The campaign has the trio taking consumers talking up their reasons why they live and love sound, and how they expect nothing then perfection.

Each one has an obvious Apple style. Each has a beautiful design and quality craftsmanship that will please Apple fans.

The speakers are available with colorful designs printed on the speaker. Nothing on price yet though. One thing is for sure, you can’t say that the designs are boring. Looks like there’s something for everyone.

Resonance iPod Speaker Dock looks like an Apple product

Posted in iPod Accessories by Conner Flynn on May 17th, 2010

This Resonance iPod Speaker Dock looks familiar. Like a familiar Apple product. It does do some unique tricks though. It uses resonance to transmit the sound from your iPod or iPhone through a hard surface like a wooden table, or marble floor.

There’s also an audio amplifier, but we’re skeptical about the audio quality that this device delivers. With it’s 3.5mm line-in jack, you can hook up non-Apple audio devices as well.

If you want more bass from your iPod or MP3 player the zo personal subwoofer promises the kind of bass you expect form a 12-inch sub from a device the size of an iPod nano. The zo has a gauge on the front to show the intensity level it is set at.
