Spykee Cell Bluetooth Robot
Here’s another Spykee robot to go along with your Spykee Vox and the Spykee Miss. I won’t comment on what it looks like he is doing to that iPhone from behind, that’s his business.

The Spykee Cell is another build-it-yourself robot from Meccano. It’s remote controlled via Bluetooth from a cellphone and can move and snap pictures, then transmit them back to your cellphone for storage. The loudspeaker module gives it the capability of becoming a hands-free set, if you want to speak and hear through the robot.

i-Station Traveller for iPhone Speaker Dock

i-Station Traveller iPhone Speaker DockLogic3 is marked today as the first to launch a speaker dock made specifically for the iPhone, which not surprisingly has been named the i-Station Traveller for iPhone. The system consists of a couple 4-watt, 35mm neodymium driven speakers and a dock that can accommodate the iPhone either vertically or horizontally.

To help make the Traveller more travel friendly the speakers will actually slide together to enclose the docking area and make the whole works only 170mm wide. The device is also compatible with any iPod or any media player that has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. We’re thinking that the iPhone probably connects through the headphone jack as well.

The iPhone speaker dock is expected to be available soon from Logic3 retailing for around $60.

Klipsch iFi Speakers for your iPodThere are quite a few accessory speakers systems for the Apple iPod, but few have the dock and speakers packaged together for this kind of price, and we’re not talking real cheap. This $449.99 iFi speaker system from Klipsch comes with a docking station with adapters for your iPod, a powered subwoofer, two satellite speakers and an RF remote control that can run the system and your iPod from just about anywhere in your house.

The revo cover also has a privacy film that you can layer over the touch screen which works similar to a privacy screen for a computer monitor letting you see the screen straight-on, but those trying to sneak a peak from an angle see a highly tinted or black view. Shure music phone adapter for headphones works with the iPhoneThis little Music Phone Adapter extension cord lets you keep your normal headphones on while taking a call with the iPhone. When you plug in a normal set of headphones and listen to your iTunes tunes you can receive a phone call that you’ll have no problem hearing them but they won’t be able to hear you.

This adapter plugs into your headphone jack and your headphones plug into it. It then has a a button and microphone right inline on the cord that lets you switch between listening to music and having a two-way interactive call with someone, without having to unplug your headphones or take them off.

The Music Phone Adapter won’t work with any phone model but currently Shure has 3 versions in the works, one of them of course being for the Apple iPhone. The adapter …

OtterBox iPhone CaseOtterbox is well-known for making tough and waterproof cases for mobile phones, PDA’s, iPod’s and even cases to keep your cigars safe and dry, so it’s no surprise to see that they have one coming out for the Apple iPhone. But it is a surprise to see that they don’t have one out yet nor do they even have a set date. The company has only said that the case is still months away from being released.

The design shown here looks promising with a cover that gives the iPhone a “semi-rugged” protection and completely covers the device including touchscreen with a patented membrane that should still allow full functionality. The buttons are are all accessible by pass-through buttons on the case and plugs will cover up the headphone and dock ports which can be removed to utilize them without removing the entire case.

Incase iPhone Topo-Patterned Protective Cover

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Darrin Olson on July 15th, 2007

Incase protective cover for the Apple iPhone with rubberized topographic patternI was browsing at the local Portland area Apple store yesterday and came across a pile of cool-looking iPhone cases from Incase. One in particular was this rubberized protective cover that fits tight on the iPhone and gives it a protective layer from bumps and scratches without increasing the size much at all. It also provided a better grip with the rubber material.

The design on the outside is what Incase calls a “topo pattern” which is inspired from the lines showing the elevation changes on topographical maps, and it actually looks pretty cool. Of course it keeps the front open for full access to the touchscreen and has holes for the camera and ports so you can charge it without taking the case off.

These molded rubber cases run just under $30 and come in colors of …
