ZAGG announces iPhone 4 invisibleSHIELD

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Shane McGlaun on June 10th, 2010

I have talked before about the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD protective films. I have used these films on all of my iPhones since the device launched and it does a great job of protecting the screen and body of the phone without having to worry about scratches.

The only downside to the film is that the extra grip it gives the body of the iPhone makes it hard to use the device in a case that fits snugly. ZAGG has announced that it has the film available for the iPhone 4.

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on June 8th, 2010

Belkin is one of the first companies out of the gate with new iPhone 4 cases. The new line-up includes the Verve Cinema for iPhone 4 which is a smart case that doubles as a kickstand when you use the foldout kickstand. That’s handy for watching movies on the iPhone 4’s new higher resolution Retina display.

The Verve CInema retails for $29.99. Belkin has also released three new arm band cases for the iPhone 4G. Those are the ProFit ($39.99), OneFit ($29.99), FastFit ($29.99) and DualFit ($24.99) are great for jogging and exercising.

Speakal iCrystal iPhone/iPod dock

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on June 8th, 2010

Speakal has a new iPhone and iPod dock that looks awesomely space age thanks to those iCrystals speakers with inverted pyramids that glow blue. We love the futuristic design. The dock comes in black, white, and red colors and has a 3.5mm input for your other devices.

The iCrystal is powered by four AA batteries or the AC outlet if you don’t want to waste batteries. You can buy it right now for $79.99. This thing looks good.

Phoneballs iPhone case

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on June 8th, 2010

Dropped calls? This iPhone case has dropped balls. Normally a case will protect your phone, but I’m not so sure this one will. After all, haven’t countless videos shown us that balls are like magnets when it comes to being kicked and punched in them?

Seems like it would draw some sort of vicious ball attack. They come in blue and peach and will cost you $15. Not sure why you would want that end near your mouth while using your phone, but at least 10% of all proceeds go to testicular cancer research.

iPhone Hello Kitty cases

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on June 3rd, 2010

Hello Kitty fans certainly have their pick of gadgets with the Kitty’s image on them, but these Hello Kitty cases seem to stand out. Fans of the kitty will want to grab these up.

I’m not sure how many lives the kitty has used up thus far, but isn’t time for a new cute kitty? I think so.

iPhone 4G wood dock

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on June 1st, 2010

The iPhone 4G hasn’t even been announced yet and already designer Chris Chan has developed a stylish solid wood dock for the new iPhone. He used the leaked iPhone 4G prototypes for inspiration and dimensions. Hopefully Steve Jobs doesn’t change some details just to spite guys like Chris.

Apparently the iPhone 4G will only be able to charge in landscape mode, but hey it’s wood, it’s stylish and hopefully it will be available soon. Chris hopes to mass-produce the design after the iPhone 4G launches. As you can see, it looks good with a cup of tea.

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on May 31st, 2010

Gaming on the iPhone or iPod Touch requires a gaming grip that looks like a Tie Fighter. Obviously. PosiMotion announced this one way back in December and now the Helix gaming grip for the iPhone and iPod touch is now available at Best Buy.

The $20 case promises to be ideal for almost any game, letting you use your iPhone or iPod touch in portrait or landscape mode, while making pew pew pew sounds.

iAngle holds earbuds, your iPhone

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on May 19th, 2010

This product’s website is not helpful at all. Good thing they have that image above, which shows you all you need to know about this device. It’s called the iAngle. Essentially it’s an earbud case and a mini iPhone stand in one.

It’s a pretty neat design even if it isn’t a world shattering gadget. It’s only $10 and probably works with other gadgets that are about the iPhone’s size.

Mi-Stylus works on iPad and iPhone

Posted in iPad accessories,iPhone Accessories by Shane McGlaun on May 13th, 2010

I have had an iPhone for a long time now and there are some days when I still wish I had a stylus for touching small links and keys on the screen. I have used a stylus before that was designed to work on the iPhone, but it was too large for good accuracy.

A new stylus has launched called the Mi-Stylus that has a tip made form a composite that will work on the screen of the iPhone and iPad. The flat tip is great for touching larger icons and buttons while the edge is good for smaller keys.

The iP90 has a larger display now than previous models and better sound. The treble and bass are adjustable and the device uses Reson8 stereo speaker chambers. Other features include multiple alarms and programmable snooze times.

Bender iPhone case and keychain

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on May 2nd, 2010

If you’re a fan of Futurama or just of robots in general, you can never have too much Bender. This Bender iPhone case is from etsy seller NOKOMOMO and comes with a matching keychain.

Admittedly, it looks as if Bender is a mask wearing bandit or has some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle genes, but it’s still a pretty cool iPhone case. You gotta love that beer-swilling cigar smoking bot, so why not show your love by buying this baby at just $24.

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on May 2nd, 2010

This simple shelf contains all of theiPhone/iPod touch docking essentials you need. It packs in speakers, dock, and auxillary out. But the simplistic beauty of this is that it’s also a wood shelf that can hold about 55 pounds, whether it be your books, action figures, whatever.

It goes by the name of Finite Elemente Hohrizontal 51 and will cost you $660. It’s available in several finishes if you like paying more than something is worth.

Official Darth Vader and Stormtropper half helmet iPhone cases

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on April 27th, 2010

These new iPhone cases combine two great things: Your iPhone and Star Wars. The first one’s, which we showed you way back in November must have been a hit since these are basically the same thing, just more stylish.

The Stormtropper Half Helmet and Darth Vader Half Helmet Hard Cases for the iPhone look cooler and in general more menacing than the first ones, as it only shows half of the helmets.

Human Touch iPhone controlled massage chair

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on April 22nd, 2010

The iPhone has more accessories and apps than anything in the history of everything. And this latest is probably one of the largest iPhone accessories ever, the Human Touch HT-Connect.

The HT Connect massage chair connects to your iPhone or iPod Touch via Bluetooth, and comes with an iPhone application that lets you control all the functions of the massage chair. Now THAT sounds relaxing. Until you see the price. I need a massage after seeing that $5,999 price.
