HP Unveils the iPAQ 610 Business Navigator

HP iPAQ 610 Business NavigatorHP unleashed another new mobile phone along side the iPAQ 914, named the iPAQ 610 Business Navigator. Unlike its 900 series sibling the 610 features a numeric keypad instead of the full QWERTY keyboard, but has many of the same features along with a little larger display.

An integrated scroll wheel in the keypad of the iPAQ 610 is a slick feature that makes navigating the menus a little easier, and seeing the content won’t be bad either on a decent-sized 2.8-inch touchscreen. It’s a global 3G and Quad-band mobile phone that also includes Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and an integrated GPS and Bluetooth 2.0.

HP introduces the iPAQ 910 and iPAQ 914 Business Messenger smartphoneHP has introduced a slew of new iPAQ products this week with one of them being this ultimate world traveler device called the iPAQ 914 Business Messenger. Th 914 just reeks of connectivity as a Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone with tri-band HSDPA, built-in 802.11 b/g with WPA2 security, Bluetooth 2.0 and integrated GPS.

This Business Messenger fits its name well, meeting the majority of the connectivity needs for a world business traveler. It features a full QWERTY keyboard for fast typing of messages, a convenient scroll wheel and the HP VoiceReply and VoiceCommander let you listen to emails and reply (among other things) without touching or looking at the device, making it easy to do while driving.

iPAQ 210 Enterprise PDA from HP

HP iPAQ 210 Enterprise edition handheld PDAHP has unleashed a bunch of new devices today such as the iPAQ 310 Companion and this new iPAQ 210 Enterprise PDA. The new 210 combines a large color display, a serious handful of processing power and Wi-Fi connectivity to provide a powerful tool targeting business customers.

Both the 200 and the 100 series iPAQ’s were released today, all running Windows Mobile 6 Classic on color touchscreens with 64MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM inside. They also feature a Marvell PXA310 624MHz CPU, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and support Bluetooth.

HP launches iPAQ 310 Travel companion handheld GPS unitToday HP launched its 300 series portable GPS units through the iPAQ 310 Travel Companion, featuring a 4.3-inch touchscreen interface on a 3D, turn-by-turn navigation system.

The iPAQ 310 shows off some fast response times by housing a Centrality Titan 600MHz processor and 128MB SDRAM with 2GB of Flash ROM, running on Windows CE 5.0. The memory can be expanded with a microSD card slot to hold your additional media of pictures, songs and video to look at during those special, non-navigating moments with your GPS. It also has built-in Bluetooth which allows you to use the unit has a hands free phone answering system through its microphone and speaker along with your Bluetooth enabled phone.

The navigation software features turn-by-turn directions announcing the actual street names along the way with text-to-speech to help keep your eyes on the road. …
