Logitech Unveils PS3 Bluetooth Headset, Keyboard |
Logitech has announced a new wireless keyboard and headset designed for use with the Playstation 3 game console coming to shelves yet this fall. Both PS3 accessories will use Bluetooth technology to connect to the game console.
The new keyboard from Logitech connects to the PS3 wirelessly and runs on two AA batteries promising up to 200 hours of use. The MediaBoard Pro Bluetooth Keyboard comes in a thin, glossy black finish with many features designed specifically for interacting with the PS3. The keyboard has a built-in touchpad on the right, similar to a notebook touchpad with scrolling and left and right button clicks in the place of a mouse. It also has dedicated keys to simulate the controller buttons such as circle, square and triangle, along with shortcut keys for web browsing and movie menus. And of course the full keyboard works well for fast harassing during gaming and eases the setup of profiles and entering URL’s.

CellPoint has recently acquired a couple of Bluetooth headset product lines from Gennum, one of which is called the nX6000 and we recently had the opportunity to review it here at the ‘Brick. This model wasn’t Gennum’s first crack at the mobile headset market. Prior to this version was the nXZEN PLUS 5500 and in our opinion they’ve done quite a nice job with improving the look while still maintaining a very quality product.

This nifty head-mounted display reminds me of those old “Deep Space Nine” episodes where the bad guys would use these things to see Federation ships attack them. For us lowly terrestrials in the early 21st century, Shimadzu’s DataGlass 3/A was designed so that workers in wet or dusty environments could use the functionality of a PC on the jobsite.

Argard has launched a stylin’ new Bluetooth headset to coincide with today’s iPhone launch called the ARGARD M10. This headset breaks the mold of the common headset with an over-ear piece and a protruding microphone.
The M10 has a small, solid, stainless steel-looking frame with a diameter no larger than a quarter. It’s designed with three different sized silicone ear pieces to fit different sized ears and will fit and stay inside your ear. A large button on the end (probably the only place you can push anyway with it in your ear) will answer and end calls. Volume controls are also around the outside of the device and it supports the ability to adjust the volume from your mobile device through the Bluetooth connection. The cradle also contributes …
