Levelhead puts a new spin on video games

It’s a new interactive cube game called levelHead.This game cube will actually fit in your pocket. It’s a new interactive cube game called levelHead. The technology is fairly simple. Software is used to detect the cube’s motion and a set of digital cameras then display the appropriate image, depending on your response. Currently, it is still being worked on. As it stands now, the players job is to guide a wandering silhouette through this amazing new cube world. For instance, if you move the cube left, the person will walk left. The goal is to direct him to the exit of the virtual world inside. You can check out a video of the game after the jump.

Energy Sistem Inngenio 4000 & 5000 PMPs

Two new PMPs by Energy Sistem are now available in Europe. Meet the the Inngenio 4000 DUET HDP M-EX and the Inngenio 5000 HDP M-EX right and bottom respectively. The 4000 model has a smaller 2.8-inch QVGA TFT LCD display compared to the 5000’s 3.5 inch, but exceeds the storage capacity of the 5000 with a whopping 6GB via miniSD in contrast to 2GB SD capacity of its counterpart.

The units understand many common formats including MPEG4, MP3, WMA, WAV and views JPG, BMP, TXT and in addition the Inngenio 4000 plays XVid and posesses an FM Tuner making it seem to be a higher end model except for screen size. The 4000 will fetch about $220 USD while the other is priced at $170 USD.

New Zvue 260 priced as budget PMP

HandHeld Zvue 260HandHeld Entertainment, despite making portable media player after portable media player over the years, continues to not be a name rolling off the tongue when one thinks of PMPs. HandHeld looks to be at it again though, announcing the beginning of sales today for its new Zvue 260.

The Zvue 260, like many other Zvue players, lacks internal memory. It instead uses external SD memory cards for storage of media content. This particular player, priced at less than $100, comes with a 1GB SD card out of the box. This card is enough to hold up to six hours of video or 500 MP3 songs.
