Someone loves Scrabble a whole bunch and by creating this awesomely nerdy keyboard, they must have scored themselves a quadruple word score. It’s a wood and brushed aluminum keyboard that features real Scrabble tiles. The points score is slightly edited to show each key’s secondary function.

Everyone knows Scrabble and this is an awesome mod that looks like it could have come straight out of the game box. It’s a USB keyboard and the aluminum accents will very nicely match the Mac that it will be paired with.

Last week we had a look at Asus’ HTPC keyboard concept, but now we’ve got some specs to go along with it. The only thing we don’t know about are pricing and availability. The keyboard boasts a 5-inch built-in display, a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB SSD, WiFi, flat Mac-like keys and Bluetooth.

Where ports are concerned, it’s got wireless HDMI, 2 USB 2.0, VGA, HDMI, and audio in/out. It’s OS of choice is Windows XP home, which is a bit odd for something that wants to be a home theater PC, though it’s not packing a TV tuner either. No info on price or release date, but according to the Asus CEO, it’ll be available in the next 3 to 6 months.

Meet the new best keyboard ever. The official Eee Keyboard. It features wireless HDMI, and it’s a “fully functional PC” with full QWERTY and an awesome mini secondary touchscreen.

Asus is mum about if and when we’ll actually see the Eee Keyboard come to market (It looks like a very real product), but if it’s a concept for a home theater PC, it is an amazing one. With wireless HDMI you could probably make any television into your monitor without having a huge PC taking up space.

You might remember a few months ago when we told you about that small bluetooth keyboard that was great for iPhone typing. Well, this one outdoes it. And it’s great for the dark home theater. This new backlit model is barely larger than your hand, and runs on 2.4GHz wireless rather than Bluetooth.

It even has an extra USB port for a mouse if you don’t also have a wireless mouse. This looks like an awesome device for your dimly-lit movie sanctuary. However, using two AAA batteries, all that blue backlighting and wireless connectivity, may just drain all the juice out of the device quickly.

Typing on this soft Gokukawa leather keyboard will feel soft and smooth. Some of you may even want to break out your riding crops and ball-gags and be lovingly whipped into a bloody frenzy from behind while working. Hey whatever floats your boat. No skin off my back, though yours is a different story.

And since you love pain, the $548 asking price is like a kick to the crotch. Especially when you consider the fact that there are no labels on those smooth, leathery keys. Don’t worry, for $603, you can get letters etched into them.

We have some more info about Art Lebedev’s AUX keypad. The expected price is “around $650.” Also, that’s a final pre-production prototype pictured above. We’re hoping that this programmable OLED keypad will have at least limited availability by Xmas. We’ll let you know more when we know.

When it comes to WoW, it seems like gamers can never have enough extra buttons and keys despite the fact that they only possess two hands. Hot on the heels of the SteelSeries gaming mouse, comes this Limited Edition World of Warcraft Keyboard for $69.99. Or as Amazon calls it, the “SteelSeries Zboard Limited-Edition Wrath of the Lich King Bundle with Zboard Keyboard, Keyset, and Standard Qwerty Keyset”. Phew. That’s a mouthful. Let’s face it, you are playing to kick ass. This keyboard should help you kick ass and take names.

There’s always typing software to help improve your skills, but for some people, easy learning comes from a good keyboard. Like the Look & Learn Keyboard from KeyRight. It’s for beginners who want to get faster.

The keys have been color-coded so that you can differentiate between eight finger zones. You still need some software to help, so the Look & Learn keyboard ships with its own interactive learning software. It’s compatible with both Mac and Windows and will retail for $40. I’m sure it’s not easy being a blonde, what with all the jokes and everything. Now I’m not saying those jokes are well deserved, I’m just saying they made a special keyboard for ya. First off, it’s pink, so you’re probably intrigued already right? The designers have also made things easier for you with some special keys.

You’ll get a lot of use out of the MySpace spacebar, while Enter= Yes, I want it. Delete= “Oops” and T= TC4S, too cool for school. S= “SOS”, shoes on sale. Seems like they covered everything. They like low-light computing/gaming so their fancy keyboard can show off. The backlight has different colors that it can be set to. The USB-connected keyboard also features a 2-stage height adjustment system for your typing comfort, laser-etched keys, shortcut keys, as well as head phone and microphone audio ports. No word on pricing or availability yet.

Datamancer has done it again and this one looks like it would be pretty comfortable to use. It’s got the usual brass, wood and classic typewriter keys, along with some other really super details. Like some violet LEDs, an acanthus-leaf pattern etched into the brass, and a soft burgundy wrist pad that is removable for cleaning. It began life as a very rare but plain IBM Model M-15 split ergonomic keyboard, but as you can see, it looks much better now.

Microsoft added to its line up this week a new laser desktop set to help increase productivity amongst all you Windows users out there. It is called the Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 and it prices around $100.

The Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 includes Microsoft’s Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. It is described as “a full-size mouse with a right-handed ergonomic design that features a snap-in transceiver .” Included with this mouse is a the Wireless Keyboard 6000, Windows Aero-inspired keyboard which offers Microsoft’s Comfort Curve ergonomic layout with included six-degree curve.

There’s nothing like shooting some Space Invaders who are trying to take over the world. It used to be that we popped a few quarters in the machine and shot them all to hell.
