ViewSonic offers new widescreen PJ359w projector

Viewsonic PJ359wWhen it comes to affordable, big picture widescreen movies and gaming the route to take is a projector. With a projector, you can get HD images as large as traditional HDTVs for a fraction of the cost. To get a 100-inch image on a plasma or LCD TV would run tens of thousands of dollars where a projector can easily do it for a few thousand dollars.

ViewSonic has introduced a new projector aimed at used looking for widescreen resolution and full 1080p image quality. The projector is called the PJ359w and offers 2000 lumens of brightness and a 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution.

Viewsonic has introduced a pair of new digital photo frames called the DPG801BK and the DPG807BK that start at $129 and feature SwifTouch touch screen technology. The touch screen technology used by Viewsonic prevents clutter and smudges on the screen.

ViewSonic VLED221wmSo you say you want a computer display which currently exceeds the industry standard for dynamic contrast ratio? ViewSonic has just such a display, showing off at CES the new ViewSonic VLED221wm. This 22-inch display is pricing at around $800.

The ViewSonic VLED221wm has a staggering dynamic contrast ratio of 12000:1. This makes it, according to ViewSonic, “the ultimate monitor for life-like high-definition content.” This display also is capable of “high-quality color reproduction” via a technology which lets it display 118 percent of the color gamut based on the National Television System Committee (NTSC) guidelines. New 26-inch Viewsonic display does 1080p

Viewsonic VX2640wViewsonic is unveiling at CES a number of new displays for various categories of usage. One of these is the Viewsonic VX2640w, priced at around $650.

The Viewsonic VX2640w is a 26-inch display which offers up, according to Viewsonic, 3ms video response time, 1080p resolution and color saturation close to 25 percent better than traditional displays. The display also offers a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and HDMI input.

Viewsonic PJ260DViewsonic introduced today five new DLP projectors best suited towards educators and business professionals. An example of these new projectors is the PJ260D, priced at around $1,000.

The Viewsonic PJ260D make use of Texas Instruments’ BrilliantColor Technology to reportedly deliver “richer, more lifelike images by using a wider range of the color spectrum.” It is designed to be portable, available in a lightweight body. Viewsonic says it can automatically synchronize with the input source and projects in 1024×768 XGA resolution.

Viewsonic is going after that segment of the home market with the launch of its Diamani DUO series of monitors which are now on sale.
