Pioneer unveils iPhone app that allows interaction with in-dash nav units |
Some of the new vehicles on the roads today have navigation systems built in from the factory. Other vehicles don’t and the driver has to choose from in-dash navigation units or the type of navigation units that stick to the windshield. The in-dash sort is much better looking and Pioneer offers a while line of them.
Today Pioneer announced a new iPhone app that interacts with two of its high-end in-dash navigation devices including the AVIC-U310BT and the AVIC-Z110BT. Both of the navigation systems can interact with the iPhone app via Bluetooth.

Pioneer has a brand new set of headphones with SRS surround technology. The Pioneer SE-NC70S headphones also feature Noise Canceling Technology which is said to suppress 1/5 of the surrounding sound (300Hz – 15dB). Perfect to block out the nagging wife or that barking dog next door.
The thing I dislike the most about using my netbook when I travel is that on many occasions when I am working I need an optical drive. My netbook and 99% of all others on the market lack an optical drive. The only option is to use an external drive, but most of those are too large and heavy.
