ASUS G74 gaming laptop available for pre-order

The ASUS G74 comes in two configurations, which both include a quad-core Core i7-2630QM CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M graphics with 3GB of video memory, 12GB DDR3 RAM (out of 16GB), dual 750GB 7200RPM drives, a 1080p display, Blu-ray player, backlit keyboard, and a USB 3.0. socket (along with three 2.0).

The G74SX-A1 is $1,745. There’s also a $1,979 version with a 3D display, called the G74SX-3DE. You can pre-order them now.

Samsung Unveils USB Adapter For Galaxy Tab 10.1

Samsung has unveiled the USB adapter for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. This dongle will provide you with a single USB port, allowing you to expand your tablet’s functionality with a USB mouse, keyboard, thumb drive and other USB accessory.

This device connects to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet via a 30-pin dock connector. The USB adapter for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is priced at just $20.

HTC Evo Shift 4G to get Android 2.3 on June 20

Sprint has announced that the HTC Evo Shift 4G will get an over-the-air update to Android 2.3 on Monday, June 20. The notification will be sent out in stages, or you can manually download the update beginning today if you like. When the installation process is started, the phone’s functionality will be temporarily disabled, so don’t worry.

The update brings SWYPE text entry capabilities, improved download management in the Downloads and allows the handset to stream media through applications that weren’t able to before. So these are some nice new features you can look forward to.

HP Pre 3 Now Available To Pre-Order In The UK For £360

Folks in the Uk waiting on HP’s latest webOS smartphone the HP Pre 3, can now get the device. It is now available to pre-orderin the UK, and it will go on sale at the beginning of July for £360 SIM free including taxes.

The HP Pre 3 has a 3.58 inch touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY keyboard, as well as a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor. There will be two models available, one with 16GB of built in storage and one with 32GB of built in storage. It also packs in 801.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

New Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Coming Soon With Dual Core 1.2GHz Processor

Samsung has announced two new tablets in the Galaxy Tab range, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but what about the original Samsung Galaxy Tab with its 7 inch display? There were rumors that Samsung would release a second generation version and now according to HDBlog, Samsung will be releasing it later this year.

According to them the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 will have a 7 inch WSCGA IPS LCD display, and a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread instead of Honeycomb. It will be able to make voice calls and send SMS message like the original Galaxy Tab as well.

HTC Flyer Dock Available At Best Buy

HTC Flyer owners can now get their hands on one more accessory. Best Buy has started selling the official HTC Flyer desktop docking station. It’s available in white and only in white. It will hold the Flyer in portrait mode and supports an MHL adapter thanks to a rear port.

The large power button on back glows or blinks in different colors to show the charging status. The official HTC Flyer desktop docking station is just $49.99.

Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 3000

The Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 3000 offers both curves and comfort, true to it’s name. It is designed for a more natural wrist position. The keyboard features quick keys, allowing you to control your music, videos, and do stuff like open the calculator with one key.

The slim, glossy design saves space on your desk and is better for you than normal keyboards. The Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 3000 is $24.95. Who wants one?

Dell Streak 10 Pro Tablet Hits China

Dell will release the Streak 10 Pro tablet in the Chinese market later this Summer. the tablet is powered by the Google Android Honeycomb OS and has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) multitouch display, and a 1GHz dual core nVidia Tegra 2 processor.

Other features include 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chat, an SDHC card reader, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR. No info on pricing yet. Hopefully we will know soon.

Acer unveils Aspire Ethos laptops in the US and Canada

Acer’s new Aspire Ethos 8951G and 5951G laptops were already available for £999 in the UK and now they can be had in North America. The AS8951G and AS5951G feature 18.4-inch and 15.6-inch HD displays and USB 3.0 ports, along with Core i5 and Core i7 Sandy Bridge silicon and GeForce GT 555M graphics.

They also pack in 5.1 channel surround sound. The AS5951G and AS8951G are $1,400 and $1,600, respectively. Prices start at $1,200 and $1,500 CAD in Canada.

HTC Sensation 4G available at T-Mobile, $150 online

Walmart shoppers got a head start on the rest of us, but now everyone else can get the HTC Sensation 4G direct from T-Mobile. The list price is $200 on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate, and you can also get an extra $50 off when you order online.

That makes the cost $150. The same price that Walmart’s been selling it for. The phone features a 4.3-inch qHD screen, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and Android 2.3 with Sense. Sound good?

Samsung Exhibit 4G and Gravity Smart coming to T-Mobile on June 22nd, Dart is here now

It’s not a surprise, but T-Mobile has confirmed some earlier rumors involving three Android-based phones from Samsung. The Samsung Exhibit 4G and Gravity Smart will both be launching on June 22nd, and the Samsung Dart is available today for free with a two-year contract.

The Exhibit 4G is the highest-end here, with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Android 2.3. The Gravity Smart has Android 2.2 and a QWERTY keyboard, while the Dart is a low-end mystery as far as specs are concerned. We do know that it has a 600MHz processor and 3.1-inch QVGA display.

Acer T231H Multi-Touch Monitor Ships In The US

Available in the European market since August 2010, Acer’s multi-touch monitor ‘T231H’ has finally been shipped in the US. To refresh your memory, the 23-inch monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2ms response time and has both DVI and HDMI connectors.

The monitor also uses Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) technology, which can dynamically adjust the contrast of the screen to enhance the sharpness of the images. The Acer T231H will cost you $329.99. interested?

Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 availability for Sweden and Finland

Samsung Finland and Sweden have announced the pricing and availability of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9. The devices in both countries will get Wi-Fi and 3G versions of Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 in August and September. Sweden users who want to buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from Telia can get it this month on June 29.

Both tablets run Android’s latest Honeycomb 3.1 OS, have an LCD screen supporting WXGA resolution (1280×800), a 1GHz dual core processor, 21Mbps HSPA+, 3MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera, HD video recording and playback support, Allshare, Social and Music Hub, Adobe Flash 10.2 support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and storage ranging from 16 to 64GB.

Toshiba releases REGZA 19P2 TV with internal Battery in Japan

Toshiba has announced a new addition to its REGZA TV line. The 19P2 is a 19″ LCD TV (1366 x 768), with a very interesting feature. It has a removable internal battery that will give you 5 hours of continuous entertainment. That’s great if you lose power and want to keep watching.

Extra batteries will cost you $86 each. Other features include a 1Seg Digital TV Tuner, an HDMI port and D4 Japanese input. You can expect it this summer in Japan.
