Neonode N2 with touchscreenSwedish company Neonode is launching the Neonode N2 this week in Athens with provider MyPhone. This little mobile device has plans to hit “other major markets” in its future, but for this summer it will be limited to service in southeastern Europe.

It features a 2″ touchscreen which the company boasts is very simple and intuitive amidst the release of their iPhone rival, and runs GSM Quadband 850, 900, 1800 and 1900, but has no WiFi, 3G or EDGE data connectivity with it, but does support Bluetooth. It does play some media including MP3, WMA, Wav, MPEG, and WMV’s and can take still photos with a 2 megapixel camera. Music can be transferred via a USB connection to your computer and the Neonode N2 has the ability to record streaming music through your PC from different radio-type sources. All data is stored onto your MiniSD card.
