The desktop computer market has pretty much cooled off with most consumers looking to notebooks and netbooks for their computing needs today. The all in one computer is one of the most popular types of desktops and Gateway has announced a couple new AIO machines. The new AIOs include the Gateway One ZX4951 and ZX6951.

Gateway has added a couple new all-in-one desktop computers to its line of AIO units. The two new machines fit into the Gateway One ZX series and include the ZX4300-01e and the ZX6900-01e. The former is an AMD machine while the latter is an Intel rig.

As back to school gets closer, we will see more and more new notebooks and netbooks launched by computer makers. The back to school shopping season is one of the best times of the year for many computer makers so they load up with new product offerings.
The desktop computer was once the most common computer that consumers purchased. Still there are some who prefer a desktop to a notebook and for that group Gateway has unveiled new systems.
Gateway has a full line of notebooks that come in all sizes. The company is also closely related to Acer, which has the most popular netbook on the market with its Aspire One. Last year Gateway launched a pair of new notebook lines called the MC and MD series. The difference was a scant 0.6-inches in screen size with the MC line using a 16-inch LCD and the MD using a 15.4-inch screen.
