Fujifilm FinePix J30Fujifilm is offering up its latest digital camera, the FinePix J30. This one will be available in pink, silver and black and sports 12-megapixels. Some other features include: Panoramic Shooting Mode, 3x optical zoom, 2.7″ LCD screen, Face Detection technology with Auto red-eye removal, Picture Stabilisation mode, Maximum ISO sensitivity to 3200 (at 3MP), Movie Mode with sound and zoom function.

You’ll also get Scene Recognition AUTO, Portrait, Backlit Portrait, Night Portrait, Landscape, Night and Macro, Lithium-ion rechargeable battery and a charger. The FinePix J30 will be available next month for an unknown price.

Fujifilm set to launch 3D digital camera

fuji3dcam-sbA lot has changed in the world of photography over the years. I remember when the coolest camera on the market was that Polaroid that took pictures that you had to shake. Digital cameras came along not long after than with all the good that came along with it.

Fujifilm was one of the early digital camera pioneers and the company is set to launch a new camera that may well usher in the next era in digital photography. The camera is called the FinePix Real 3D System and it allows you to shoot 3D images.

Fujifilm FinePix Z33WPFujifilm just announced their latest FinePix digital camera, the Z33WP. It targets those of us with a more adventurous spirit, since it is waterproof up to 3 meters and boasts large rubber-type buttons. Some features include a 10 megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 2.7″ LCD display that will provide instant previews.

The Z33WP only measures 20mm thin. You can choose from green, blue, black, gold and pink options. Though I can’t see most adventurers choosing pink. The FinePix Z33WP is expected to have a £200 price point.

Waterproof Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP digicamFujifilm is getting all wet behind the ears with the release of the waterproof point-and-shoot FinePix Z33WP camera next month. The 10-megapixel “Life-Proof” camera will be available in three color schemes including black, green or pink.

The Z33WP can withstand depths of 10-feet, but it isn’t shockproof. Some other features include a 3x optical zoom lens, Face Detection Technology, Automatic Red Eye Removal, SR Auto (auto scene recognition) and blog mode, which automatically resizes images to 640×480. You can purchase the Z33WP next month for $200.

Fujifilm FinePix S100FSFujifilm was showing off this week its most advanced SLR styled digital camera to date. It is called the Fujifilm FinePix S100FS and pricing is set around $800.

The Fujifilm FinePix S100FS is a 11-megapixel shooter with a 14.3x Fujinon manual zoom lens, 2.5-inch tiltable LCD screen and ISO capabilities up to ISO 6400. Featured technologies on this prosumer SLR include dual image stabilization, face detection with red eye removal and film simulation modes.

Fujifilm rolls out SLR-like digital camera

Fujifilm FinePix S8100fdFujifilm is another company showing off this week some new digital cameras. One of these, for those prosumers out there, is the SLR-like Fujifilm FinePix S8100fd. It is priced at around $400.

The Fujifilm FinePix S8100fd offers up a 10-megapixel experience and is outfitted with a “Fujinon 18x Wide Angle Optical Zoom fixed lens, which offers a 27mm-486mm equivalent.” It is a sealed, fixed lens system to keep out dust as well as perhaps helping to cut price. Major features include enhanced face detection technology, dual image stabilization and a 2.5-inch wide LCD display.

Fujifilm unleashes a compact 12-megapixels

Fujifilm FinePix F50fdAnother digital camera which was part of Fujifilm’s announcement blitz today is being described as a compact powerhouse because of its 12-megapixel CCD sensor in a small body. The new Fujifilm FinePix F50fd is priced at around $300 and should be available in September.

The Fujifilm FinePix F50fd, besides the large CCD sensor, offers up a 2.7-inch wide angle viewing LCD and 3x optical zoom. Like other new Fujifilm cameras this particular model offers several interesting features which make it worth the price tag. One is a scene mode for copying and reducing the size of an image so it can be posted to a blog or put in an email attachment. The other one is detection of up to 10 human faces for the purpose of automatically adjusting focus, exposure and white balance.

Fujifilm FinePix S8000fdFujifilm introduced a slew of new digital cameras today. Out of the pack one which stands out is a new SLR-styled model known as the FinePix S8000fd (around $400).

The Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd is an eight-megapixel digital camera with an 18x wide angle optical zoom lens. It is the equivalent of a 27mm-486mm and offers a fixed lens design sealed to keep out dust. It offers two types of image stabilization technology to increase clarity and sharpness and allows you up to ISO6400 (at 50% resolution).

This upgrade to the Fujifilm Z5fd comes in five loud colors of Wave Blue, Wasabi Green, Hot Pink, Sunset Orange, and Midnight Black and is slim enough to take with you just about anywhere. It has 3x optical zoom, a 2.5″ LCD on the back and a 54MB internal “reserve tank” to give you a few extra pictures when you memory card is full. Speaking of memory cards, this Z10fd will take SD/SDHC media cards in the same slot as the xD cards, so now you can take photos onto a media card that will actually work in something else you own.

When we first heard rumors of this camera here at the Brick we had grand expectations of some camera with Wi-Fi and some type of email or automatic http posting capabilities. Our imagination of a blogging camera may have been a little out of hand, but we honestly did expect a little more than what Fujifilm released.

FujiFilm Unveils Additions to FinePix Digital Camera Line

Fujifilm Announces FinePix Digital Cameras, FinePix F40d, FinePix A800 and FinePix A610Yesterday at the CES in Las Vegas, Fujifilm accounced three more digital cameras in their FinePix lineup; the FinePix A800 (pictured top), the FinePix F40fd (pictured center), and the FinePix A610 (pictured bottom). These new digital cameras will be offered in addition to the A400, A500 and A700 models and will be available in the US in March of this year.

The FinePix F40fd, an 8.3 megapixel, 3x zoom camera which is expected to retail for around $299 USD is sporting a new facial recognition technology, in which the camera can recognize up to 10 faces anywhere inside the viewing frame in a slight fraction of second, and then focus on them appropriately. FujiFilm FinePix S5 ProFujiFilm has announced the development of their new “workhorse” camera to be released in 2007. The FujiFilm FinePix S5 Pro will be released with a host of new features and upgrades from the previous S3 version.

A few of the larger improvements to this line of FinePix cameras include:

Real Photo Technology Pro (a combination of Super CCD SR Pro and RP Processor Pro).
Six preset ranges between 100% and 400%.
Dual save mode to allow pictures to be save as jpeg and RAW simultaneously.
Mac and PC Support.
Shutter speed from 30 seconds to 1/8000 seconds.
2.5 inch LCD screen with 235,000 pixels.
Unique Face Detection Technology.
