Creative has revealed some snazzy new color options for their ZEN iPod-rival. Behold the eye-catching pink and red versions. These look juicy in bubble gum colors. Other then the color, the PMP is identical to existing ZEN models. So, you’ll get the same 2.5-inch, 320 x 240, 16m color TFT display, choice of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB flash storage and SD/SDHC expansion.

The ZEN also has an FM radio and microphone for voice recordings, is compatible with multiple audio and video formats (MP3, WMA, AAC (. M4A), WAV (ADPCM), Audible 2,3,4, MJPEG, WMV9, MPED4-SP, DivX 4 / 5 and XviD) and has a photo viewer (JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG & TIFF). It can also handle TIVO-to-go files, from PVR. File transfer is with a USB 2.0 connection. Battery life is about 25hrs audio playback or about 5hrs video. Nothing on price or availability yet, but the red ZEN has been seen on Buy.com, the pink is apparently a Walmart exclusive.

One of the products Creative is showing off at CES is a new iPod docking system which can output HD video. It’s called the Creative Xdock HD and will price at around $400.

The Creative Xdock HD is designed to dock and charge your iPod much like any similar product. While docked you can output upconverted video on an HDTV in full DTS surround sound and it can also wirelessly play music through X-Fi Wireless Receivers connected to speakers throughout the home. It has HDMI output as well as other video output types.

Sometimes it seems like we have been ripped off in regards to the future we were promised so long ago. You know, how we were supposed to have humanoid robots in every home and hover cars all over the skies. Those things are coming for sure, it’s just alot slower then we thought. At least the video phone is here and getting better all the time.

Creative’s WiFi Video Phone seems just like those futuristic video phones we’ve seen in movies and TV. It will allow you to have typical audio conversations as well as video conversations. Some of the specs are: WiFi, Integrated webcam, 7-inch display, H.264 video, VOIP, Audio and video out, Contact list, as well as a Calls list. No info on pricing or availability, but it should be fairly soon.

One common compliant of flash-based portable media players is they don’t have enough storage for all of your media files. Creative is today challenging that issue by globally releasing a new 32GB version of its Zen player. It will price for around $330.

This 32GB Zen from Creative will reportedly be the world’s first flash memory based PMP of this size. Creative says it will be capable of holding up to 8,000 songs, 110 hours of video or thousands of photos. It offers up a 2.5-inch color screen for viewing and will let you get up to 30 hours of music or 5 hours of video playback before needing a recharge.

Now we know damm well Apple’s iPod is the big king of the hill when it comes to portable media players. More of these puppies are in the hands of listeners than we can even think about. It’s good though now and again to remember the other companies left in Apple’s dust, especially when they mark a decent milestone of their own.

Creative is in that ballpark now, we think. The company said today it has now shipped a total of 25 million MP3 players. It is said to be as well the world’s second largest MP3 player company in global unit shipments. Creative debuted ts first NOMAD flash memory-based player in 1999, and in 2000 launched the Creative NOMAD Jukebox. This was followed later by the Creative MuVo and Creative ZEN families of players. Some of these products have gone on to win various critic awards and such.

How big of a Target fan are you? Enough to carry around a MP3 player which sports the well known bullseye logo? If so you’ll want to get your hands on this new Creative Zen Stone Plus for sale only through the retailer for around $70.

The Creative Zen Stone Plus (Target Edition) has a red body design accented by a white control button. Other than that you’ve got a pretty standard player here from the Creative family of products - features include 2GB of storage for around 500 songs, MP3/WMA playback and an OLED screen.

Creative is rolling out a new MP3 player today which looks like an overgrown Zen Stone. The new MuVo T100 will initially be available in Singapore at the end of October.

The Creative MuVo T100 comes in a variety of colors and serves double duty as a USB thumb drive and music player. It’s available in 2GB and 4GB sizes, measuring 25 x 77 x 8.9mm and weighing a lightweight 17.8 grams. It has a built-in USB connector and can get upwards of ten hours of audio between charges.

Creative has a new set of noise canceling headphones on the market with the new Aurvana X-Fi. These headphones are Creative’s first that have their new X-Fi technology which according to Creative will enhance your listening experience with additional sound features.

On the side of the Aurvana headphones are three buttons to turn on or off the three major features. The first is the noise canceling button which, just like it sounds, turns on or off the noise canceling feature reducing surrounding noise up to 20dB. The second button turns on the X-Fi Crystalizer which is designed to restore more detail to compressed songs and provide clearer music. The third button is the Cinematic effects (X-Fi CMSS-3D). This button turns on a feature that provides an surround sound experience in the headphones with voices in front and other sounds that seem to be around you.

Amazon has released some early photos and specs of the new Creative Zen shortly before the IFA in Berlin which starts in a few days. The listing is pricing it very reasonably at $149, $199 and $299 for the 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models, respectively. It’s available for pre-order now and they aren’t saying quite yet when it will actually ship.

The new Zen so far looks like it’s only available in black and is touted as a credit card sized MP3 player that supports playing music, video, viewing photos and picking up FM radio. The display consists of a 2.5″ TFT supporting 16.7 million colors and the internal memory is expandable through an available SD card slot. The Creative Zen looks pretty sharp and at this price will no doubt make its own thin space in the market and many pockets in the coming months….

Creative has quietly brought to American shores a Zen MP3 player which has built-in speakers. The Zen Wav is on sale through Wal-Mart in 2GB and 4GB sizes.

The Creative Zen Wav, announced earlier this year, lets you play your standard MP3 and WMA music files as well as view AVI files and digital images on its 1.5-inch color display. The player gets up to 30 hours of playtime through headphones or 20 hours through its speakers before needing the battery recharged. You also get a FM radio to entertain you when really bored.

Creative has recently rolled out with another capacity increase with the Zen V Plus, this time bringing it up to a whopping 16GB of Flash memory. The player itself doesn’t appear to have changed but this increased storage brings this already impressive media player a little further up in the world with twice the storage space available in an iPod. Currently the Zen V Plus at its 16GB capacity is only available in the Singapore area and is retailing for about $260, but like the previous versions we hope to see it in the North America area soon.

The Zen V Plus also comes in capacities of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB and measures only 2.7 x 1.7 x 0.6 inches, which is similar to the size of a Tic Tacs container. With its small size it still manages to support …

It looks as if Creative has finally brought one of its nicer looking speaker systems to American shores. The Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600 is priced at around $300.

The Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600 is targeted towards owners of Creative’s Zen Vision:M portable media player. A dock for the player comes as part of the package and is capable of charging the PMP as it plays. Also part of the package are two two-way satellite speakers, each with a large 3.5″ driver and soft dome tweeter, and a 130-watt subwoofer.

Creative has added an equally stylish way to share the music from their new Zen Stone Plus media player with these TravelSound Zen Stone speakers.

They’re a small hand-sized portable speaker set with a dock built-in that custom fits the Zen Stone and the Zen Stone Plus using micro-drivers to deliver a decent sound to hear your music without headphones. The speakers run on 2 AAA batteries for up to 21 hours which is cool but the Zen Stone players themselves run only 9-10 hours. The speakers also have the ability to run without the batteries at a lower volume level and include a flip-out stand to hold the player upright. The Zen Stone speakers are expected to be available in July retailing for $69 in colors of black or white.

In only less than two months after Creative released the Zen Stone MP3 player, they’ve now come out with an updated version called the Zen Stone Plus with some nice upgrades that could just as well have been on the first version they released in May.

The Zen Stone Plus player doubles the memory capacity from 1 to 2GB, adds a simple but much appreciated blue 64×64 OLED display, a stopwatch, voice recording, a built-in FM tuner with up to 32 presets, support for MP3, WMA, and Audible and 9.5 hours of continuous playback. I guess that last one is a .5 hour downgrade from the first Zen Stone but that’s probably to be expected with the added display.
