Bose Lifestyle 235 2.1 channel home theater system

Bose has introduced the Lifestyle 235 home theater system and the company is claiming that it is their best 2.1 channel surround system yet. You can connect up to 6 audio or visual sources and the system also supports HD upscaling for non HD media up to 1080p.

The system comes with an iPod / iPhone dock, a remote and a headset which can be used to calibrate the system’s sound. The Lifestyle 235 will cost you $2300.

Bose SoundDock 10 is HUGE, costs $600Bose has seen fit to park an iPod in front of a monolith. This thing must weigh 20 pounds. The subwoofer is the size of a child’s head. And it costs $600. Yet they still call it an iPod dock. It’s about a foot tall. It’s not really all that portable, which I guess it isn’t supposed to be.

The dock connector can be swapped out to suit different players, or, for an extra $150 you can get a stereo Bluetooth adapter. Bose also threw in a composite video port, so you can see photos and videos on your TV.

boseqc15-sbIf you are like me, you probably think of those big noise-cancelling headphones when you hear the name Bose. The company does make a lot of other products from radios to home theater speakers as well.

Bose has announced the latest addition to its line of active noise cancellation headphones called the QuietComfort 15. The new headphones feature both new active and passive noise cancellation technology.
